But the fact is that, the trp aunties at small towns will not accept her as Chandrakanta.

They have a certain sense of beauty, and going by the examples of previous shows, historicals usually go flop if the female lead is not traditionally pretty.

Plus they've already seen her as a vamp.

Ok, even if she had been a negative princess, she would've been accepted but since she is the positive lead, people is already having a hard time accepting her.

Well, some of the comments have been really insensitive, but from a trp aunty pov, madhurima is not even probably the last girl to be considered for the role of Chandrakanta.

If I would've been ekta kapoor, I wouldn't have called her for the auditions.

Plus unlike Kawach and Brahmarakshas , Chandrakanta won't get to leverage the success of Naagin since Naagin franchise itself is under danger!!!

Plus there are a whole lot of bahubali inspired shows coming out, and the leads are itself bad.

I just read the written updates, dunno how the scene has taken place in the show itself, but from the writing itself , it seemed to me like it was just a sudden revelation without any build up of suspense so that the revelation looked just as flat and non exciting to me.

BTW the TRP should slide down more, hopefully in the minus 😛 and not because of India Vs Pak match. The match is set to be boycotted by most Indian due to our soldiers being killed by Pak troops. Infact the #BoycottPakvsIndia was(is?) trending on twitter. There was a debate on Times Now on whether India should play the match at all or not. But if we refuse then that's counted as loosing so many people want India to win and then Virat to dedicate the win to our soldiers. But still, the match won't be watched on TV. Everyone is planning on watching it on the net. So Rocky fans can't use that as an excuse.😛 😆
