Confession - I have tried watching Schitt’s creek like a million times - and I haven’t gone past season 1 🙈 but that’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear of a riches to rags story.
I hate how horribly they’ve dramatized this - with not an ounce of sense.

I felt so in 1st season, but if you sit through, it is interesting.

And by the end of it I started liking Moira the most.

100%. I meant to understand what character progression is, better plots and writing... here Priya had Extramarital affair, Dev didn't have an affair but an obsessive lover, Yamini, Divya, next Vidhi will have one, so atleast they can refer to SC for inspiration.

Chitra can mature as a person, take up work, raise her child well, be independent. Maybe find a good guy. (On this note the Fandom can propose the idea the new entrant could be the guy Chitra can get married to)

Satya can actually take up teaching dance, looking after Balghar etc

Abhi, can finally find his niche and work towards it.

Vidhi has a lot of maturity given the background she comes from, but she doesn't have real world experience.

Priya needs to fully accept her family and start supporting Abhi and work.

Dev needs to be the anchor. Which he already is but also needs to focus on his personal life and understand that everyone's happiness is not his responsibility but rather he needs to help them fly independently.

@bold - Why did she ask permission from a photo? It sounds creepy! It is basically like Sathya does not want to do anything or rather her story line has been written that way. If she’d rather do something she would have done by now. She knows apna honhar beta & bahu will fix everything. So she can go back to RM(raichand mansion) & do nothing 😂
