150 and Counting ✨️

150 & still counting… 🥳

I can confidently accept this is the longest Indian tv show I survived… 😆I think the last for me was 7years back with count of 132 (show ke hi itne episodes the—Reporters…I wonder if someone from that forum can recognize me here)… and I never imagined myself watching & being invested in a Indian daily soap…

When I saw NUKSH’s first promo on my Instagram feed, that stool promo Vidhi standing on stool & fixing Dev’s hair …& next I saw that boat promo, it tempted me to watch…but still I didn’t started watching it. Very honestly I was apprehensive starting it…one of my friends was watching and she recommended me…I started off from the episode where Vidhi started working in office & Dev scolding her because chachi had visited office… (no wonder that’s my fav scene)…How more than the love story or anything else Dev’s dry sense of humor, his savage sarcasm got me into the show.

I was genuinely surprised when I got into the flow of watching epis by epis…& watched initial epis I missed…& till now 150th episode its been a wonderful journey …Keeping all the shortcomings, all the complaints, editing mistakes, plots formations…conveniently ignoring everything… we cant deny the charm this show holds…. It brought back the old school romance of handholds, the magic of eye locks (minus the cliches of hair flying, dupattas flying, falling & bumping each other after every 2 episodes etc.). but romance is more based on understanding and emotional bonding between the main leads and clarity & trust they have on each other, leaving minimum chances of misunderstanding moments.

Most importantly this show brought a new facet of Television male lead as a soft-hearted person & not the arrogant rude male lead, who transforms after falling in love. Dev is kind of “too good to be true” character to be found in reality.

As the show overall I like how they are keeping the subtlety of everything no dramatic panning of cameras...no blasting BG effects..for me it was surely a surprise ... makers are keeping things simple & steady paced...and every character making its own place & importance in the story.... Be it positivity of Satyavati , Abhimanyu gradually finding his confidence ....Arjun experiencing his heartbreak...HariPrasad the protective father cherishing his daughter , Bimla the typical mother....and Amba inspite of being Negative lead she is optimistic negative 🤣🤣🤣 teaching you never to give up on your dreams however impossible they are 🤣🤣🤣

As for love story, One of the best things about main leads is how Dev Vidhi’s love is facing all odds together…its not like they fighting individually but they are always facing problems together… that’s what make them different from other couples in daily soap. Dev Vidhi have not “fallen in love” but they are making each other rise in love. These two came together in spite of all odds, they made their love so powerful which goes beyond age, class, status…

His maturity ...Her innocence

His calmness...her bubbliness

Him finding peace....She finding the stability

It’s always said, falling in or out of love is beyond our conscious decision, and I think that’s what makes this feeling beautiful, that you have no control over it, we can’t force ourselves to love or un-love, when it happens, it just happens effortlessly. If you have to put in effort then it’s not love. ♡♡

Dev found Love of life when he had "NOT" been waiting for it ...but still love came his way..

Vidhi found her first love ♡♡ and the first rush of love always holds a special place. It enriches you emotionally and physically, makes your heart flutter even at a simple glance from your partner, and makes your life beautiful and worth living.Love touches your heart in a way that it would never be touched again in that way....

Love happened seamlessly for these two, like it was always “Meant to be”...and Its said,

I too watch very selected shows...but nuksh is special I wake up early to watch this show why bcoz my family members if they get to know I watch a show religiously they will deliberately disturb me while watching it specially my brothers with their running commentary.

I was at reporters and some reason can not recall meeting you. May be because of time constraints we did not meet 😆

I also did not watch few episodes of last quarter of that show. May be I survived little just a little more. Show was really good. I could watch Ronnie dying. Just could not

So about this show I will come back later in separate post 😂

Aww!! You were there in Reporters 🤔🤔.. why even I can't recall.... did you had different username then 😆....

Ronnie dying was lowest they could go ....show went downhill moment Kabir's ex wife came in picture ...it turned into regular Itv drama

I agree. It took turn from there. After that I watched on and off. Did not feel like watching last epsiode. They should not have killed Ronnie.

I still go back and watch old episodes.
no I have same user name. My guess is we were in different time zone, that time I was at east coast so one more hour behind. So it was very difficult to see those were in not same time zone
