Vidhi home:( when dev first called her)

Vidhi said bye to dev and went into the thoughts. Sir aaj tak mujhe sabar karne keliye bola hain par aaj aisa kyon bol raha hai. Achanak aisa kya hua ki sir ekdam se papa se bath karne ka soch raha hain. Our sir ki aawaj bhi bada udaas laga mujhe. Aaj tak sir kabhi bhi mujhse is awaaj me bath nahi Kia .Kuch tho jaroor hua hain.

Par ab mujhe papa se yeh baat kehna hai ki sir our satyavathi mam kal aa rahe hain varna ekdam un logon ko yaha dekha tho papa iss baar kaisa bartaav karega mujhe bahut dar lag raha hain. Hey ma mera madad karna pls…

Vidhi is going to her parents room when she about to enter she heard hp talking Bimla dev Saab se hame yeh baath chupane hi padega. Vidhi stopped abruptly by listening dev Saab from hp. She step back and stood there shocked by her father’s behaviour.

Bimla: par dev ji Vidhi se bahut pyar karthe hai. Vo vidhi ko bachane keliye kuch bhi karega. Mujhe pura yakeen hain.

Hp: Bimla Kis mooh se ham dev Saab Se yeh bath kahenge. Our ham dev Saab ke saath yeh anyay nahi kar sakte hain. Ha main dev Saab se naraz jaroor Hu.. par mera dil pathar nahi hai Bimla hamari bachi ki khushi keliye dev Saab ko aag me dhakelunga.. nahi aisa nahi kar sakta mein.

Bimla: par hamari bachi ki saare armaan, sare khushiya bas dev Saab se jude huye hain..

Hp: ham kya kar sakte hai Bimla.. kuch bhi hamare haath me nahi hain.main manta Hu dev saab vidhi se bahut pyaar karthe hain par yeh sach jaan ne ke baad vo vidhi ko apanayenge, bas kuch dinon keliye usse shadi karne keliye taiyar ho jayenge.

Bimla: shayad dev ji vidhi ko bacha sakte hain . Usko videsh tak pahchan haina vo kuch bhi karke vidhi ko bacha lenge. Mujhe pura yakeen hai vidhi ke papa.

Hp: Bimla doctor ne hame bataya na iss bimari ka koi ilaj nahi hai kahi pe bhi agar hota tho vo hame bathayenge na USs jagah treatment keliye jaane keliye.

ham kaise dev saab ki jindagi ko hamari haathon se barbaad karenge bimla yeh pata hote huye vidhi ke paas sirf teen mahine hain jeene keliye.

Vidhi got shocked by listening this and she felt like her legs giving up and about to fell she supported on wall , tears are continuously flowing from her eyes and with shivering body she managed to reach her room. Vidhi is shivering with tension and she couldn’t make her thoughts and in a confused and tensed state she dialed dev no to share her pain.

Dev didn’t lifted the call then Vidhi slowly came back to senses but still she couldn’t process what is happening around her. She just remembered her parents convo and cried at the truth that she have only some time and then slowly her brain start to work that how her parents are behaving nicely with her nowadays and how Bimla is in tension about small things related to her like her chakkar and dullness. And mainly how hp agreed for their meeting at baalghar and home… and what dev said in before conversation and why she felt something wrong about him.

Iska matlab sir ko sab pata hain.. isiliye unhone shaadi ke bare me bath Kar rahe the.par ma papa kaha rahe hai ki vo dev sir se chupana chahte hai tho sir ko yeh baath kaise pata chala..

she remembered how he is asking about her health and his dry words.. his heavy voice. She cried remembering his words. Mujhe pata hain sir aap kisi bhi haal me mujhe nahi chodega mujhe pata hain.. par mein aapke sath yeh na insafi nahi hone dungi sir.. kuch pal ki khushiyan keliye main aapko jindagi bhar ka dard nahi de sakti sir.. mujhe pata hain aap ko iss bath se koi farak nahi padega.. mere kismat me jithna bhi din hai aap mere saath rahenge our mujhe bachane ke liye apna jee jaan lagayengeein.par main ithna swardhi kaise ho sakta Hu sir.. nahi.. mujhse yeh nahi hoga.. mujhe khud ko aapse dur karna hi hoga. Par kaise karu sir kaise .. main kuch bhi karu.. kahu.. aapko pata chal hi jaayega aap mujhe mujhse bhi jyada ache se jante hain..

Hey milapini maa aap kyon mujhe ithna bada uljhan mein daal dia.. koi aisa rasta dikhayi ye ma ki main dev sir ko khud se door kar sakun..

Mujhe pata hain kal papa shadi keliye nahi manenge .. par uske baad kya.. our sir itni aasani se peeche nahi hatega.. papa ko manane ki poori koshish karega . mujhe hi kuch karna hoga.. kuch bhi karke sir ko mujhse door karna hi padega..she remembered their moments and painfully she said sir.. aap mujhse ithna pyar kyun karte hai …main bahut khush naseeb Hu sir.. mere kismat me aapka ithna zyada pyar likha hai par badle mein main aapko dard ke alava kuch nahi de pa rahi Hu. Sir.. I am sorry sir.. I am sorry….and she cried bitterly..

Dev got scared by the missed call at that time and he went hurriedly to his cupboard and took the red Color shirt and hugged the shirt tightly.He felt heavy and light at the same time by touching that shirt to his heart like his heart is sharing all his pain with her and obsorbing her sorrow…he hold the shirt near to his heart and lost in peace that shirt providing him….

Vidhi is remembering all the things happened between them and felt pain to loose their memories so soon..

In few minutes she got call from dev. She is in pain and without thinking anything she lifted the call dev sir…

And she cried..

Dev: Vidhi….. kya hua.. kyon ro rahi ho.. bathao mujhe kya hua.. pls stop crying Vidhi…pls…

Vidhi: i am sorry sir.. I am sorry.. main .. main.. sir maine ..papa …se bath karne keliye gaya tha par… vaha jane ke baad main yeh suna ki… …and she cried… main..main..

Dev: dev felt that his heart stopped its beat for a second kahi Vidhi ko sach tho nahi pata chala…. Nahi.. nahi.. aisa nahi ho sakta.. dev pressed the shirt too tightly near his heart then he controlled himself and spoke.. vidhi pehle shant ho jao . Vidhi pls stop crying and ab bathao aisa kya sunaa tumne.. pls mujhe bathao vidhi.. aisa kya suna tumne ( he couldn’t bear the fear of chance of getting her know the truth)bolo vidhi pls…

Vidhi got into senses after listening his pleading voice and thought yeh kya kar raha hai Thu vidhi .. tu sach me pagli filam ho.. dev sir ko yeh bathana jaa rahe hai ki tumko sach pata chal gaya .. no.. no..

Dev: vidhi plz bolo na .. mera dil baitha ja raha hai vidhi .. jaldi bolo na..

Vidhi: she just pressed her mouth with hand and wiped her tears and calmed her heart beat and said sir.. papa .. papa kaha rahe hai ki ..

Dev: ha pap ne kya kaha..

Vidhi: vo vo ma ko aapke dhoke ke baare me yaad dila raha tha our kaha raha tha ki vo kabhi bhi mera hath aapko nahi dega…..

Dev: he closed his eyes with relief and exhaled the breath that he is holding till now and calmed his erratic heart beat.

BAs yahi baath hai vidhi.. tumne yahi suna hain.. he wants the confirmation very badly.

Vidhi: controlled the tears and said ha sir.. papa iss shadi keliye kabhi razi nahi hoga.

Dev:he just got relieved and said Vidhi tum pehle rona band karo vidhi.. hame patha hai na tumhare paap ke bare mein. Sab theek ho jayega. Kal bas ek our baar koshish karoonga taki vo maan jaye kya pata doosre thappad se unka gussa khatam hojaye and uske saamne se main tumhe vaha se uthake le aavunga in dhayee style…. he smiled ..he know she won’t like this but he is trying to make her normal.

Vidhi: got overwhelmed by his love forgot the situation and lost in his charming words ,smiled lightly and said with shy.. kyan sir aap bhi..

Dev: thank god .. ab tum meri vidhi laga rahi ho…daro math vidhi..main bas kal aavunga our tumhari papa se baath karoonga. Sirf ek our baar koshish karne do mujhe pls..math rokna mujhe pls.. vidhi..

Vidhi was silent and she don’t know how to stop him and calmed a bit.

Dev: agar mohatarama ka mood thoda theek hogaya tho aapka ijazat samjhun . He just trying lifting up her mood but here he can’t control himself and his eyes are shedding the pain and his heart become heavy and he felt his words are struck in his throat..

Vidhi felt happy, cry, proud at same moment and about to break down . She just pressed her eyes with much difficulty and controlled herself and said… bye sir….

Dev: Dhyan rakhna ache se vidhi.. bye…and cut the call.

Vidhi after hearing his concern couldn’t take anymore and broke down completely…

Dev wore the shirt and sat silent on the floor near the bed and staring at the void that engulfing his life…

Vidhi woke up with jerk by the call of Bimla. She don’t know when she slept and she is slowly remembering the things that happened in last night…

Dev sat there like up to the morning without closing the eyes.. his head is laying on the bed and he seems lost some where.

Satya came to dev room and called him softly .she make him stand and sad by seeing his dishelved state , his messed up hairs , his dry eyes and tired face. To lift his mood she said hamne decide karlia na dev jo bhi kare saath me karne ke liye. Tho jao jaldi jaake fresh up ho jao.. sasur ji ko patana bhi hai .ithni gandha shakal lekar jaoge tho ghar me bhi entry nahi milega… jao thoda sajon Savaroon…

She laughed a little and pushed him to the rest room and wiped her tears..

Vidhi went hurriedly to Bimla and said about dev and satay’s arrival.

Bimla felt very happy and went to inform hp.

Vidhi just saw Bimla and said to herself mujhe patha hain maa aap meri khushi keliye kuch bhi kar sakte hain. Aap mere liye swardhi ban rahe hai ma.. par in sab me dev sir ka kya hoga..

Hey milapini ma BAs aap hi yeh kar sakte hai ma.. papa ko har haal me iss rishte ko inkaar karna hoga..

Par main nahi chahti hai ki dev sir ka ek our baar beijjati ho.. sab kuch shanti se hona hai ma..

Agar main mana karu tho dev sir yakeen hi nahi karega.. our uske aankhon mein dekhne ke baad main yeh natak nahi kar pavunga ma..

Bas himmat dijiye ma.. dev sir ko mera sach patha hone ki sach ke baare me kuch bhi doubt nahi aana chahiye..kyonki papa kabhi iss rishte ko raazi nahi hoga tho mujhe kuch nahi karna hai.. par dev sir .. uska koi bharosa nahi hain poori koshish karega ki papa ko manane mein kyon ki ab vo mujhe iss halat me akela nahi chodenge. Kya karu.. kya karu..achanak se mein badal gayi tho sir ko doubt aayega..

Vidhi is in thoughts and Bimla called her..

Bimla:jaldi taiyar ho jao beta bas dev sir aathe hi honge..

Vidhi: ma par paapa..

Bimla: Thu vo sab kuch mujh par chod do .. (she also in doubt how much she try to convince hp he is not ready to listen .but she is confidant that dev will set everything all right.)

Dev home:

Dev got freshen up and looked in the mirror and said agar yeh tumhara rota hua chehra dekha tho vidhi ko doubt aayega ki thum usse kuch chipa rahe ho..dev made himself presentable and went to Satya . both prayed to god and took aarthi and went to Vidhi home.

Vidhi home:

Vidhi got ready in a salwar suit and Bimla made her wear little make up and said bahut sundar lag rahi ho Vidhi.. Seema told dev jiju ko tho tumhe dekhte hi hosh ud jaayegaa…

Bimla has tears in her eyes and thought if sab kuch theek hota tho yeh unki jindagi ke kithna memorable din hota. She turned aside and wiped the tears..Vidhi understood and couldn’t control herself and cried a little.

Bimla:vidhu. Kya hua ..papa ke baare me soch rahe ho.. kuch nahi hoga dev ji sab sambhalenge..

vidhi stood silent and Bimla wiped her tears and ro roke Ghandhi shakal banayi tho dev ji main gate se hi bhaag jayega…

Seema: nahi maasi.. jeeju bilkul bhi aisa nahi hain. Yeh kitna bhi gandha shakal banaye par jeeju usse nahi chodne vala . Isiliye madam ji ne style maar rahi hain..

Vidhi smiled a little by Seema’s words.

Dev and Satya came to Vidhi’s home. Satya got the Shagun for Vidhi and driver kept the Shagun in the table and went.

But what they don’t know is they’re already the mandap and all haveli decorated that ki milapini ma ki puja ki tayyari ho raha hain.

Satyavati thought how in this situation dev will talk about marriage and how hp will react for that.she is very tensed about that.

Puja keliye sab mohalle vale vaha moujud hai. Puja sampann hone ke baad dev told infront of every one that he wants to talk some thing important with Vidhi if Hariprasad ji permits him.

Hp stood silent because all the mohalla people are there.

Taking it as yes dev walked up to vidhi and said

Vidhi.. milapini ma, tumhari ma, paapa, mere ma our yaha jitne bhi log hai un sab logon ko patha hai ham ek dusre se kithna pyaar karthe hai . Isiliye aaj inn sab ke saamne main thumse yeh poochna chahta hoo ki..

Vidhi .. mujhse shaadi karogi….

Vidhi got emotional by listening this and she only know how much she waited to hear this from her dev sir.. but now she don’t know what to do? Sab log yaha pe hai our uska yeh dar hai ki sab ke saamne uske paapa ek our baar dev ko insult karega..our vo kuch nahi kar Sakthi paapa ko rokne keliye.

Dev: vidhi.. kuch tho bolo..

Vidhi: she was moved and welled up by the love he is showing in his eyes even after knowing her truth .. she wiped her tears and said

Ha sir.. main aapse shadi karna chahta Hu …. Par mere ma papa ki ijazat ke bina main yeh nahi kar Sakthi Hu.. vo mera sab kuch hai sir isiliye unka razamandi meri liye bahut zaroori hain..

Dev didn’t find it odd because he know she will answer the same so.. he looked at hp to say some thing and all other neighbours who are shocked by the things.

Satya was worried but dev saw directly into hp’s eyes without any hesitation.

Hp couldn’t see into Dev’s eyes and just looked all other neighbours and walked up to dev grabbed his hand and took dev along with him.

No one dared to follow them because of hp’s anger.

Satya and Bimla praying that ki some how hp should accept this relation.

But Vidhi is praying with pain that her paapa kabhi iss shadi keliye raazi na ho jaye. Our iss baar dev sir ki koshish ko na kamyab kijiye ma.. mujhe pata hai sir poori koshish karenge papa ko manane keliye.. par pls ma.. papa iss shadi keliye mana kare pls ma..

All the people present there waiting for the outburst to happen . Mohalle vale ithna uthavake ho raha hai ki aaj usse bahut mazedaar scene dekhne ko milega..

Satya and Bimla ,chacha,chachi all are worried about hp out burst and Vidhi is worried about Dev’s zid.

After 30 minutes,

Dev and hp came out of the room happily and hp announced that ki

USs ne Kal Shyam ko dev our vidhi ke sagai ka shub muhurath set Kia hai our vaha jitne bhi log hai usse vo sab aamantran kar rahe hain.

And he walked up to satyavathi and said badhai ho satyavathi ji …

Vidhi got disappointed about the announcement of hp and all mohalle vale sulked their faces on missing the best entertainment of the day…

When dev looked into hp’s eyes for permission:

Hariprasad ji grabbed dev hand and took dev along with him to a room and locked from inside.

Dev stood silent cause he know hp will burst on him.

Hp: yeh kya naya drama shuru Kia hai dev saab. Aap ko ache se patha hain main aapki dhoka ko kabhi bhul nahi sakta Hu our meri beti ka haath aapko kabhi nahi de sakta Hu..

dev still stood silent.

Hp: aap aap kya chahte hai.. jo beijjati iss samaj ne hamare khaandaan ko Kia , jo gali meri beti ko, mere parivaar ko Kia vo kam hai kya .. ithne beijjati ki baad bhi aapka dil nahi bhar gaya . Vapas aagayi firse hamari beijjati karne keliye…

Aap khan kholakar sun lijiye dev saab main meri beti vidhi ki shadi aapse kabhi nahi hone dungi.. yeh vaada hai mera. Main nahi maanungi iss shadi keliye..( he said everything without looking into Dev’s eyes)

Dev stood silent and looked straight in to hp’s eyes with emotion…

Hp couldn’t answer him and he understood dev knows the truth. And still dev wants to marry but he didn’t want to happen that.

Dev knows that he is angry on him but he is not cruel.

Dev: kyon nahi hoga.. Hari prasad ji kyon nahi hoga .. bathayiye..

Hp: he turned in a swift to face dev and said kyonki.. main aapke saath yeh anyay nahi hone dunga.. main aapse gusse jaroor Hu.. par mera dil ithna sakt nahi hai , ithna pathar nahi hai ki meri beti ki khushi ke liye main aapke jindagi ki khushiyan cheen lu.. yeh mujhse nahi hoga…. Nahi hoga..

he just joined his hands and said dev saab pls aap yaha se chale jayiye .. meri beti ko uski haal me chod do .. main usko sambhalunga.. jitna mera bas me hoga vo sab karunga usko khush rakhne keliye..pls dev saab.. aap chale jaayiye…

Dev: hari prasad ji aap mane ya na maane par main vidhi se pyar Kartha hu.. our main usse chod kar kahi nahi jaane vala hu.. vo bhi tab jab usse meri zyada jaroorath hai..

Aapko lagta hai mera pyaar ithna kamjor hai bas ek problem aagayi our main beech me hi peeche mudh kar chala jaagunga..

Hp: yeh koi choti si problem nahi hai dev saab yeh shaadi aapki puri jindagi ko tabah kar degi… pls dev saab mujhe pata hai aap meri beti se sacha pyar karte hain par main aapko aapki jindagi barbaad nahi karne dunga.. uske paas bas kuch hi din bacha hai..

Jis umra ko lekar main aapko accept nahi kar paaya Hu ab USs umr meri beti ki kismat me nahi hain dev Saab ..and he started to cry bitterly..

Dev already has tears in his eyes and after seeing hp’s state he couldn’t control himself and hugged hp and cried .

Both hugged each other and shared each other’s pain.

Dev wiped his tears ,came from hug and said

Hari Prasad ji Sambha liye apne aapko .. dekhiye mujhe patha hai aapko main pasand nahi Hu aapki beti keliye our iss halat ki bahana banakar main aapko iss shadi keliye majboor nahi karna chahta Hu.. par mere paas koi our rasta nahi hain.. aap.. aap mere baath samajh rahe hai na..

Hp: nahi.. nahi dev ji.. yeh aapka bada dil hai ki aap abhi bhi meri beti ki khushi ke baare me soch raha hain..

Dev: sochunga.. jaroor sochunga.. main pyar karta Hu vidhi se… our aapne ek baar bhi mujhe mere feelings aapko batane ka mouka hi nahi dia . Par aaj aapko sun na hi padega hp ji. Jab …jab… mujhe pehli baar vidhi ke baare me kuch mehsoos hua tho main .. main khud hi uss feeling ko nahi accept kar paya. Main bahut mushkil se vo sari feelings apni dil se nikal dia . Uske baad har baar maine aapne aapko rokne keliye bahut koshish Kia. Par fir bhi mujhe yeh pata nahi chala ki kab vidhi mera dil ki awaj ban chuki hai.. sach mein mujhe pata hi nahi chala.. bas hogaya…aapne har baar mujhe yeh gali dete rahte haina main Amba ke saath sagai thodke uske saath na insafi Kia hain . Ha Mera galti hai sagayi ko ha kahna .. par iske peeche jo vajah hai vo bas mujhe patha hai .USs rishte se mera parivar bahut khush ho jayega yeh sach hai par sath me ek our acha vajah bhi hai ki vidhi ko main khud se door kar sakta Hu . Our iss namumkin our na practical rishte se vo bach jaayegi. Bas yeh sochkar maine ha kar dia. Par USs sagai ko todne keliye maine bilkul bhi koshish nahi Kia. Fir bhi milapini ma vo rishta tod dia . Tab mujhe samajh aaya ki main kitna galat tha ..uske baad main yeh accept kar paya Hu ki main vidhi se pyar karta Hu our vo mujhse .. par main yeh maan ne ki himmat nahi kar paya Hu ki vidhi our main kabhi ek ho sakte hain.. kyonki mujhe pata hai iss rishte me kitna dard hai, kithne saare ladai. Hain . Puri samaj hamare raste me kante bichake rakhe hai our main vidhi ko iss raste pe chalte huye nahi dekh sakta tha . Mera yakeen kijiye hari prasad ji main kabhi bhi aapko dhoka nahi dia hai . Usse kuch nahi huva hain. Isiliye main USs report ka sach ka pata lagakar hi rahunga. Hp calmed down and both came out happily and announced about sagayi.

dev ko pata hai agar ab vo vidhi se bath Karega tho vo puche hi ki uski papa kaise haa kar dia .. isiliye just to divert her he just winked at her and left from there . All other members shocked by that and pretended to not see anything and left from there abruptly. Vidhi stood there as confused and shocked by Dev’s act.

Dev sat in the car and send the reports to UK doctor that he took pictures when hp and dev are talking. BAs ek din our vidhi sab pata chal jayega ..

He took Satya with him and left from there.
