Climaxes for these soaps do not, I repeat, do not exist. Now the current state of NBT reminds me of the story from my childhood where a king goes hunting with his minister and has to spend the night in the woods due to bad weather. Unable to sleep, the king commands his minister to tell him a story until he falls asleep. The minister than tells him the tale of a king who goes hunting with his minister and has to spend the night in the woods, and then asks his minister to tell him a story until he falls asleep.The story, thus, moves in circles.

The only difference between my childhood story and these soaps is that the former made a bit more sense to me.
