quite a good analysis ...i really appreciate it ... i am totally agreed with everything but jayshree ...its ok if you say that she is doing very well(although i cant see it)but does she look like mohan and megha's daughter she looks elder to them and this thing irritates me whenever i watch it ... looks matter to consider a characterWriting today about Navika, who is given maximum screen space during first two weeks of season 2. The future course of the show depends a lot on how Navika will see, understand, investigate and react to her interaction with Mohan.
We have been told of MN face off next week. Some of us are expecting a lot of fire works. Me, not really, though Navika may record her video diary in which she will vent out all her anger.
But I think Nanhi will not express her anger and pain, to Mohan. She will not disclose her identity to him.
She is even unlikely to tell Megha that Mohan is her boss. Similar to Megha not disclosing that she works for Mansi, in PL office or that she works with Mohan. Navika today is equally desperate to earn money to spare herself and Megha from Renu's ranting.
But I am not sure if she will eventually vent out her anger on Mohan after her true identity becomes known to him. Here, I am in a double mind. She may vent out or she may not, as eventually her anger subsides and only pain remains, but she is able to realize that Mohan alone was not responsible for loss of Addu. Here is a reasoning / possible explanation for my POV that Navika's anger may subside:
If Nanhi is going to able to see as a first person, Mohan's commitment and efforts to find Addu as well as his pain. If she comes to know that Rimjhim is also Mohan's adopted child, i.e., he did not marry someone else, then Navika's hatred may subside. I am not able to ignore this possibility as I am imagining something like this:
Megha who is going to be Rimjhim's Kathak teacher, would know that Rimjhim has not seen her mother and she only has heard stories of her mother from her dad. Megha need not have any clue of who is Rimjhim's father, though Rimjhim has Mohan written all over her. 😊 So, Megha may remember Mohan too many times during her interactions with Rimjhim. ☺️ (We may get some romantic fb's of MM, as Megha remembers Mohan due to something while talking to Rimjhim).
Navika would know very soon ( may be this Monday, the first MN face off) that Rimjhim is Mohan's daughter. She may initially be shocked, super angry but decides not to show her anger, only to save the job.
Navika is going to have bigger MU about Mohan & Rimjhim, the crime reporter in her shall be extra interested to know the truth behind Mohan, Rimjhim. She may decide to investigate about Rimjhim, i.e., How Mohan has this daughter, and eventually would discover the truth. Even we would come to know more about how exactly Mohan was able to set up an NGO?, how did he get so much money? and how he found Rimjhim?
Add to that Mohan selecting her as a part of his team to investigate on his dream project - finding Addu and tracking the child kidnapping racket in the city. Navika has enough reasons to hold her anger.😊 Though her video diaries shall be really nasty.
May be after few days Navika may meet Megha in the school and would know that Rimjhim is Megha's student. But Navika doesn't tell Megha anything about Mohan as Navika wants to spare Megha from any more pain. Even this track can have some beautiful Nok Zok bewteen Navika - Mohan, Navika - Rimjhim, or for that mater some high powered bonding between Rimjhim and Megha.😉
There can be some bits of Guru gyan and Jiji love gyan or Renu ranting in between. The track has got good enough MU's to garner TRPs. And yet they can maintain the distinctive NBT flavour as well, by reducing the cruelty, enemity and keeping overt display of bitterness to the minimum. But bitterness can be shown like two days ago, Nanhi sliding the burning mosquito mat closer to Renu, only to shut her up.👏
And word about the actress playing Navika, Jayashree, she is a Powerful Performer. She is the best choice who could be in front of Kunal and Akansha. I am happy with her performance.
👏 Thank You Jayashree for all the efforts you are putting in.👏
Looking forward to more, and more, from you. All the best to you to stand up and act in front of Kunal. 😊
I think many people hate the character that has become a grown up Nanhi, a girl who lost her father to death at age 6, lost her brother and her Spiderman to destiny, at age 8 -10 and has never heard of them since then. She is now 20 - 22 years old. She has spend more than half of her lifetime so far in deprivation and loss of love, care from a single mother who is in lot of pain and limited resources. Dear people, this girl has every reason to be bitter. It will take lot of twists and turns for her bitterness to subside, I think that will happen eventually.
But till then, if you find Navika's behaviour very negative and it puts you off, please remember, it is Jayashree's powerfull acting which is bringing the correct essence of the character of grown up Nanhi. There is no need for bashing the actress, when she deserves congratulations.
So much for now,
- Swati.

After reading Neha's post I even imagined a scene where Mohan shouts at Nanhi for some lapse asking her Y she a wanted to become a journalist and pat she replies 'Because my father was a great journalist' ...😃

but after seeing the promo, i'm thinking of something else. we all have been dreading a face-off between MN. but what if nanhi turns all cold and indifferent to her Spidey and falls silent, talking only when needed and that too in the fewest words possible, and maintain a strictly professional relation with him, even calls him " Sir " ? mohan ke liye isse bada koi punishment nahi ho sakta ke uski chawanni usse " Sir " kehke pukare.
ok yeh lets wait and watch but what can i do all your given reasons doesnt persuade me
Thanks meerab22.
I understand Kunal and Akansha have very fresh looks and their body built is small than Jayashree. But as far as body language goes Kunal and Akansha (less than Kunal), are good at giving a look of someone who is 40 something in their acting. Jayashree does act like a 20 - 22 year old aggressive girl. Jayashree is short, that suits Nanhi, who was not a tall kid. But this grown up Navika is not as thin as Megha. Thats it. Do we never see such a thing in real life? Mother is thinner than her daughter? Another thing, there are many women in their late 30's and early 40s who have grown up kids and the mothers look young as they know how to carry themselves gracefully. I don't find too much trouble with that.
Acting is not just about the size of the body frame, you will agree with me. I think Jayashree is performing powerfully as a 20 - 22 year old girl who has to bare the loss of 3 important people in her life before the age of 10. That kind of loss may lead to a ruggedness, rowdiness and may be creatives thought that to be important apart from Jayashree's acting capabilities, hence chose her over others. I don't want to question or criticize the cv's over such things. They have consistently given us a great show. The PH's decision to hire Kunal or Akansha was a risk and they took it only to give us such a brilliant actor like Kunal. So lets wait and watch, how things unfold.
Hope you understand my pov, and you are entitled to have yours. I have only explained my rationale behind my pov.
Thanks.
