Not sure whether the story of this show appeals to those audience but his role did! May be something like that! The actors focus will be more to do with the role/character that they play! But for a writer its very different! She needs to be convinced from the overall perspective of the story! Every character in it! Every emotions put into the character! That's what I feel!

Poo what you are saying is right. But in case of Kunal's role in LRL or Pratigya...LRL was a youth show so he could do it without any complaints plus it was his first show.
In Pratigya initially he was supposed work for only 2-3 weeks...but he did his role so convincingly that the makers had to get him back before bumping him off. Plus he did not play the lead there, but in NBT series he plays the lead and a show is as good as the leads mainly. If he gets to do a sensible role, the show will be good...because majority of the scenes are shot on the leads.
Knowing Kunal, I am sure he will not do chindi roles. I just hope he backs off if things dont appeal to him.
