The current situation is bcoz of the over ambitious attitude of the channel, PH, and the NBT team (excluding actors).

The show was beautifully conceived, well executed till 100 eps. The only issue was the expectations of all the stakeholders and the viewers. If the NBT had set the clear track of a storyline till 200 episodes by including the MM romance, MA bonding, M indu issues, Mohan and Mr Bhatnager patch up and some ofl other ideas thought of on this forum and accordingly set the expectations.

The show being a different kind for a specific audience, may not have done wonders by reaching to the top of the TRP but I'm sure the TRP wouldn't have dwindled like it has. The TRP would have remained around 2- 3 or whatever and everybody would have been happy.

The serial people channel PH- in their high expectations keep the storyline open and try to twist the show in the hope that the illogical twists may improve the TRP but the end result is always disastrous.

I have yet to see a serial on Indian television where the show has maintained a consistant TRP/ viewership and has ended gracefully. All the shows have ended abruptly by quick winding up process - jaise viewers ne joote marke show band karwaya ho.

Many of us don't want NBT to end but where is the soul of NBT- its dead long back. Viewers have got frustrated and there is no way the show can be revived. So its better to end even if it is ungracefully.

Its better to stop watching these worthless shows but this audience is in a minority and irrelevant for the TV industry. So guys pay the price of being in minority - apne liye kuchh aur dooond lo jo dil ko sakoon de.
