seeing her reaction he has to promptly nullify his confession by disguising it in a act of drama or joke as we have seen in Rashmi's farmhouse or her engagement...Because Mohan don't want to loose that friendship atleast ("tum he khone ka darr tum ko pane ki khushi se kahi jyada hai...")...He said the same to GURU also that "mai usse kabhi pa to nahi sakta magar usse khona bhi nahi chahta"...So he made a compromise of remain as a good friend of her and was happy with that ki he atleast getting her company although not getting her completely...He has to burried his greatest desire, his overwhelming love within himself even before it get chance to come in day light...Surely understand how much painfull it would be...But again some unexpected turn up of events took place which made him to rethink about this...He saw Rashmi telling her about Mohan's feeling, also Mohan's mother told Megha that she is very special for Mohan, then Megha's behavior of ignoring him in office and finally reading her eyes after beating that lafanga, Mohan got a sure hint that Megha has already known his feeling and very bother about it...But it made him more surprized that even after knowing his true feeling Megha doesn't consider him like enemy or guilty like Prateek but just choose to keep distance...Then during amar case track Megha openly stand for him before whole world and openly claimed that after amar Mohan is the most trustworthy for her...And finally when Mohan saw Megha come running barefooted to stop him and after hearing his last and confirmed and clear(not disguised anymore) confession that he loves her still stand their with a urge that he must not leave the Mohalla and during that huq wala scene when Mohan saw her eyes and also her leaving immediately without giving any answer to the question "tum kaunsi huq se mujhe rok rahi ho????", Mohan assume or more precisely got confirmed ki Megha also feel for him subconsciously but she is not able to express it as because she is still living with her past...Now Considering these situations Mohan decided to bring the reality before her from her subconscious, try to act as a morror which reflects the true feeling of Megha about Mohan before her, which still is in megha's subconscious...And Mohan understand that for this to happen Megha has to be pushed, to bring her back from her past to the present...Make her to see what is waiting for her in future...Also after buried his desire for so long time, bearing so much pain for not confessing his love, leaving hope for getting his love ever, when Mohn actually confessed his love with so much passion before Megha and get a hint about her heart, he got so much relieved, his heart becomes so much lighter...Now he is in seventh heaven...Life becomes so nice for him...Everything seems very easy for him...Believe me this happens when u get even a small confirmation about ur love no matter wrong or right, u also live in a heaven and then ur main motto become whatever confirmation u've got make it a concrete one that to get a full and final confirmation from ur love interest and for this ur about to take any means,u can go to any extent, how mature or wise people u would be, because it's a urgency of
heart, it's an emergency of ur love, it's most required things by that time for ur living, for ur well being...That exactly happened to Mohan...He got a hint now he is desperate to make it confirmed, confirmed by Megha herself...He is sooo lost in his love, his newly got hint, his realization that he is not able to think about Megha's situation...He saw a new ray of hope to relive his love and got absorbed into it forgetting all the consequences...Before we see in mandir when megha asked him to spare hr and her family he quickly agreed because he doesn't want to see her in trouble...But now the situation is different...Monu is roaming in the world of imagination dream and doesn't seem to come back in reality...that's why see behave in this weired manner to win megha's heart...It's I think normal and quite efficiently shown by CV...and for this track I don't think the main theme NBT i.e subtlity or silent nature won't be hurt at all I think...Also the current pagal majnu avatar of Mohan is temporary and he soon will come to reality and understand what he had done but it needs a shocker which bring Monu back to real world from his dreamland...I think that shock will come in the form of Megha's slap which bring Monu to the ground of reality and make him feel the actual situation of Megha...Also u sited that it would be better if the love between them would grow up through every day's interaction...But I want to assure u this will never be possible... Because due to society, her orthodox family and above all her endless love for Amar Megha completely confined her life within amar and vyas family...To her falling in love again or thinking about other male except amar is like a crime and she believes this will hurt amar also...Think after taking the rose whenever Megha heard the name of Amar, how much guilt hse was feeling and try to crushed the flower...So to bring her from her self imposed captive condition, to break her wrong assumption that her life and love has finished with amar and now the only resource for her living is amar's memories a hard strike was neede which stired her up from inside, which shook her heart rigorously so that she become free from her past, she can see the colors of life again and above all she can wish to live life again, can start the new beginning...That's why Mohan did those acts which push megha to the edge of her emotion, make her think in a new way, make her accept the present...

@big_007agree to most of your views regarding Mohan and also agree that Megha needs some shock.

Regarding Mohan's behavior, while some would say he should have been circumspect, it was typical Mohan. If he feels he is not doing anything wrong he simply goes and does it without bothering about how anybody else will feel. He is just an open book.

Again the difference in upbringing was highlighted, Mohan being brought up in a much more informal environment, as compared to the Vyases who follow the rule book.

On any other day asking Megha to sit next to him in the dinner table would have been scandalous. Here he being the guest, he escaped with just some looks. Thankfully MIL was in Vaishno Devi else she would have probably fainted

Agree with you analysis on why he is doing this. But i'm not if he really thought out all of this. Because in last episode too he said something like "mujhe kya karna chahiye, kya mein sahi kiya aur kya hoga ab". Maybe its subconcious reasoning that makes him to do these things.

But i think marriage proposal will not happen, none of the coverages said anything about he giving marriage proposal.

That is what he did during last week as he kept the Vyas family, Pracreep and Evilnath in the dark and went ahead to disclose Amar's innocence to the world. He was able to keep his promise to his Chawanni, could avoid any threats to Chawanni, Megha or anyone from Vyas family, as he wanted to buy few hours from Evilnath & gang before the truth is out on a national TV.

Mohan's current full on Majanu Avtar, I think, are also a part of his method of madness. A method suites his personality and perhaps he has practiced it during his professional life as a crime reporter, hence he is able to use this method effortlessly.

Did he not say yesterday after we saw Megha smiling to his jokes at the dinner table and quickly getting him hanky, "Kuch to ho raha hai aapko, lagataa hai mere sawaalon ka jawaab jald hi milne waala hai..."? That statement to me was a confirmation that Mohan is doing all this to make Megha realise her feelings for Mohan.

Megha is currently going through this big turmoil of emotionally swinging from her past and present. Her past being her lost love - Amar and the life she lived. Her present being again at multiple levels.
At one level she has this part which is holding onto Amar, who wants to live a single woman's life as widow of the martyr Amar, who tells herself that she has already lived all the emotions, joys of her lifetime during her life spend with Amar.
Mohan has made a remarkable presence in her current life. He is the one who makes her laugh. With whom she is able to be really carefree.
So far, Megha was yet to realize that Mohan is much more to her than a friend. But yesterday's episode she is being shown to be getting that realization, just like the prick of a throne, it hurts, she started bleeding.

I feel Monu becoming sooo eager to push Megha has something to do with his dinner date with Vyas's and the fact that Megha cooked him a meal. There is something about one enjoying good food made by one's love interest and after that one going on a trip, "I want MORE, I want More, I want everything". Believe me, this is true for men as well as women. 😉 😃

With he admiringly gazing (I dare say almost staring!) at Megha the way he does or bringing a bouquet for Megha, give it to Jiji but only after ensuring that he keeps a Red Rose for Megha and then gives it to her at FIL's back, all this created earthquakes in our dear Megha. She is not shocked by his behaviour, she knows his feelings.
I loved the way she was looking at Mohan while FIL was showing him the house. She admired that FIL has really warmed up to Mohan. And then the mention of Amar, took her back into the island of life of a martyr's proud widow, no wonder then the throne pricked her hard. I don't want to repeat discussion on symbolism in yesterdays' episode, that has taken place elsewhere.

The painful process of Medha realizing her desire for life after Amar, her decision to leave her past in the past and live in the present with a welcoming acceptance of future - with Mohan, has began.
Mohan's Mohanerisms, are only adding fuel to it. 😃 ⭐️

Now since its about love, this fuel is going to cause fire. So this slapping etc., is fine. For some time both of them will bare the burns, it will be painful but I am sure will result into a strong bond of love between two thoughtful persons.

And that moment only brought tears to my eyes, my heart went for Megha as well as for Mohan. Me thinking about the wobbly road ahead in store for them, at the end of which there is love and happiness in togetherness. But the road is tough.
