Update 1st Sep 2010

Raghav is speaking on phone to Sia when Gaji comes and holds his shoulder. Gaji gets a call saying the bus which Dheeraj-Jhumar took has broken down. They rush to that place. Raghav tries to show wrong route but Jogi corrects him and they reach the spot. Raghav has already SMS dheeraj that they know their location and Jogi and team will reach anytime. Dheeraj and Jhumar get down from bus and run into village. Jhumar falls and hurts her leg so dheeraj asks for shelter with a person. His wife refuses but the man agrees and he locks them in his house.

Meanwhile at Haveli Sheela is begging with ammaji in hall to save Dheeraj and Jhumar and help them lead a good life. Ammaji says that she cannot allow this because then many more such cases will take place in village and parampara will be spoilt. Sia sees this and coms and tell sheela with whom you are pleading its better to plead to God then ammaji because she has no heart. Ammaji gets angry and says to sheela that she must plead with sia the new sarpanch not her as she has called panchayat. Sia takes Sheela inside. Sheela says she will not rest till she knows Dheeraj and Jhumar reached Delhi. Chanda, Santy and Sheela very tensed in the room. They pray together to GOD.

Jogi, Gaji and Raghav reach the bus and Jogi and Gaji search the bus frantically. Raghav calls Dheeraj to ask him their whereabout but cuts the call midway because Jogi and Gaji have come out of bus. Gaji asks conductor and he says a girl and boy went in one direction after leaving bus. Jogi, Gaji and Raghav sit in car and proceed towards the village. Ammaji thinking of sheela misbehaving with her in morning in kitchen and that she will have to ensure stringent action for Dheeraj and Jhumar once caught otherwise veerpur and haveli ki izzat will go out of hand.

Raghav is sent in one direction to serach and Gaji and Jogi near house where Dheeraj and Jhumar are hiding. Jogi says to gaji lets go and search in jungle. Dheeraj listens to them and is happy and tells Jhumar they are safe now. Just then Jogi and Gaji enter house and the owner asks for money for showing them. Jogi hands a bundle of cash. Jogi goes towards dheeraj and dheeraj pleads with him to allow them to leave for city and they will never come back to village. Jhumar also pleads with him. Gaji goes and tells jhumar they must have dreamt of living together but as a brother he will ensure they can now die together. Dheeraj tells them to leave Jhumar alone and punish him only. Jogi starts hitting him with butt of gu, legs and hands. Gaji will be holding Jhumar. Jhumar goes and catches Jogi's legs to leave him and Jogi kicks her. Gaji starts hitting her badly. Dheeraj gets angry and pushes Jogi and asks Gaji to stop hitting Jhumar. Jogi threatens Dheraj with gun and says presses trigger. Raghav who is searchin sees a crowd in front of house and goes in to the house and pulls the gun from jogi and says let ammaji do justice. He pushes dheeraj out focefully and says lets go to veerpur. All leave for veerpur.

Precap: Dheeraj says he loves jhumar and holds her hand in havelli. Villagers ask ammaji what punishment dheeraj and jhumar deserves and she says buyr them alive in village. Sheela is shocked and collapses to ground.

I now realise how lucky I am to be born in a family where ispite of being the youngest of the three daughters, we were given proper education, freedom and value sets to pursue our lives independently and follow our dreams and wishes. I guess that's the greatest gift God has given to me when I was born. Whew!

As for the witch, her jhadu and kaala billa - the less said the better. They need to be burnt on stakes. That lampat, after doing so much nonsense,s till survives. I so wish that the case is re-opened, under the directions of the PC, and the lampat is sentenced to death. Then only the witch will understand how painful and helpless it feels to be caught in such a situation.

As for the jhadu cum Dhongee Baba, he should be flogged to death in the Panchayat itself.

anyways,amma simply had to say crap like tht abt DJ bt we are forgettin tht she is now just an avg citizen of veerpur.so WTF is she to pronounce DJ's "punishment" (its more like a crime in any case)..and anyways high time sum1 mentions in the panchayat tht lynching is illegal in our country..CVs IF UR READING THIS,we need and want a decent portrayal of law and order in lado now..honour killings and lynching is not any aira gaira person's prerogative and tht HAS to be mentioned before wrapping this track up..

See Ammaji is an ordinary citizen, but in a kasbah like Veerpur, where still it's easy to subjugate people, esp. women, she is still the de facto supremo. Sia has won the election alright but she still has to go some more way before she is considered as the real Sarpanch of the village. So this track is also a trial by fire for Sia as well.
