He had actually let Sia down in this whole process by basicaly destroying her life initially, and thne trying to balance the process when he fell in love with her.

From what i see Raghav wants his mother to approve his wife and like her and he wants to do everything in his power to project sia as a good person in front of his mother. Hence even though he may know panditji is lying he just acted as if he was angry at that moment with Sia, but deep inside he knows sia has misunderstood his mom's talk or that his mom is capable of what accusations sia has put on her. Hence he did not react harshly with Sia.

Raghav is currently struck between his mom and sia and this situation is something new to him. There is no one out there like a father, uncle or elder brother who can advice him on how to handle such a situation. Hence his reactions are inconsistent. He is just experiementing by one time siding with his mom and the other time with sia. Though through out he is also aware that sia may be afterall right.

Raghav has truly loved his mom very much and its difficult for him to come to terms with his mothers bad side and break her bond and he is still thinking how to react to it. Yesterday when Ammaji threatned to disown him as her son if he does not comply to her commands he still did not agree because fundamentally he knows whats right and whats wrong. So it will be a very grave reason for him to act as if he is complying with his moms wishes like threat to kill Santosh or Sia.

But now i see a positive aspect of Rgahav is that he does not take orders lying down from his mom like he did initially when he married sia and then disowned her on his mothers orders. The only hope these women folk of his house and veerpur have is Raghav because if he does not oppose no others have the power to take on ammaji and her goons. All sia, sheela and santosh have being doing all along is only talk, no concrete action till date to oppose. They could easily put a police complaint agianst her or provide evidence of her misdeeds to police(hiding their identity). But they have not done it till date. I think finally looking at so many atrocities Raghav will finally take action like leaving the house with Sia, Jhumar, Sheela and Santosh. Then villagers will also become brave to oppose Ammaji and her goons and her power will slowly erode.

The powerful usually use physical threat as a tool to oppress all those who oppose them. Ammaji has been doing this all through. So if one person stands agianst it and gets away alive the others will get brave and oppose ammaji. The current track will instigate Raghav because first time he has been threatened to do something which he never wants to do. Hope this current track instigates him to finally oppose his mother and brother whom he worships.

You are right. I got a bit frustrated with Ammaji winning always and felt that the FF team is to be blamed for it and started pinning hopes on Raghav. The FF team need not worry in future about these restrictions as their courier boy(Raghav) hopefully is always in attendance to do their bidding. He has no restrictions on going out except that he cannot go out with Sia and no one will suspect him provided he is willing to go against them. He can only secretly whisk her away in future as Ammaji felt threatened by Sia's dhamki yesterday and will want to restrict their movement together outide the haveli in future.
