Written Update 28 May & 1 June 2009

May 28

Sunehri comes out and Ammaji tells her to cheer up. Ammaji says she knows why Sunehri is upset but if she has any complaints she should do it to Raghav because Raghav also knew that he was to marry her sister and instead he brought home his girl. Sia is a little upset. Ammaji says there is only one way to solve this and its that Sunehri starts to see Sia like a younger sister. Sunehri smiles with great difficulty and does the Rassi-Napai rasm and declares that the groom is taller than the bride (i don't understand this ritual). Ammaji says it was obvious even without the rasm.

Sia and Raghav come in and do the Chaap rasm again. Then Ammaji tells Gajender to inform all villagers that there will be muh dikhai rasm in the haveli so all ladies should attend. Vaidehi is sitting alone in her room and Doctor comes to give her company. They both miss Sia but Vaidehi is worried about what Sia must be facing in the Haveli. Doctor says Ammaji has changed for the good and only good will happen to Sia. Vaidehi is still doubtful about Ammaji's sudden change in behavior.

Ammaji very happily gifts Sia a huge necklace (Sunheri is angry about it). Ammaji praises Sia on being beautiful. Everyone else brings a gift for Sia and her muh-dihai is done happily. As she is being taken to her room after the ritual a whole bunch of villagers come wanting to question Ammaji on how she can accept Sia as her bahu.


June 1st

Sia and the ladies watch as Ammaji pacifies the villagers and explains why she accepted Sia. Yogender looks upset throughout everything. Ammaji sends the villagers away. Sia is brought to Raghav's room and the ladies tease her a bit. Sheila tells her that there is a pooja tomorrow and only after that would she and Raghav be allowed to spend the night together. Sia is sitting alone and hears shuffling outside her room thinking its Raghav she gets happy but no one comes so she sits down again. Ammaji comes to Sia and talks to her and thanks her for bringing Raghav back home and blesses her as a mother. Sia gets emotional.

Raghav is sitting with his brothers. Gajender is a little drunk and advices Raghav that he is like a film hero who married the girl he wanted and now if he wants to be happy he should keep his wife happy. Raghav asks if keeping wife happy means he has to agree with every thing he says and be a henpecked husband. Gajender realizes he's being made fun of and says he'll see how far Raghav goes when it comes down to it. Yogender is not enjoying all this and he gets up and leaves. Raghav too gets up to leave but Gajender stops him saying he shouldn't go yet and let his bride wait and become more desperate.

Sia is angry looking at Raghav's photograph and mumbles why he couldn't even come to see her even though they are not supposed to spend the night together. She is talking to herself that Raghav is behaving like a typical husband that now that he has brought her home he doesn't care what she is going through and she'll teach him a lesson when he comes. She turns around and is about to scream when Raghav puts his hand on her mouth. Raghav tells her not to scream and takes his hand off and she scolds him for taking so long. She says she was alone in front of new people and new home and she was missing her dad and sister and he was no where to be found. Raghav listens sweetly and asks is she was so desperate to see him. Sia says she'll show him tomorrow as she won't let him come close to her. Raghav asks really? and Sia gets shy. They hug and Santhosh Chachi walks in with milk for Sia. She kicks Raghav out and wishes that their love would remain this way forever.

Next morning, Ammaji is working on organizing a reception party for Raghav and Sia where some political dignitaries will be attending. Yogender does not look happy. Ammaji sees Jhoomar going somewhere and she tells her that another ritual is happening. Ammaji hands over money to Yogender and geos with Jhoomar to be part of the ritual. Raghav and Sia are sitting opposite from each other and Raghav has to untie a knot on Sia's hand with one hand. Ammaji sits next to Raghav and scolds him when he tries to use two hands. Finally he unties it and then its Sia's turn. Sia uses both hands and Raghav tries to take her one hand away but Ammaji says she can use two hands. Raghav is being naughty and tries to grab Sia's hand but she unties the thread and Ammaji says she is proud of her. (BTW Sia was looking much better than her bridal wear, and Raghav was looking handsome too).

Precap: Ammaji is saying on the phone that things will happen as planned tonight and Sia+Santhosh+Jhoomar are shocked.
