As long as these reality shows exist, voting will exist. The audience will vote for their favorites as they will not want to take the risk of their favorites losing because of lack of votes. That's why these shows succeed.
The intent of my topic is not to discuss about the voting figures. The intent was to discuss the way in which the channel plays with the emotions of a common man. The way they have highlighted the negative situations against a popular team to rouse their feelings enough to vote fervently. And at the end how they sprung the surprise of a studio audience voting which has so far not happened in any of the reality show finales that I have seen. What is the value of a handful of studio audience in front of millions and millions of viewers all over the world?
