Shankar's Breathless Song A Fake? - Page 2

It was a recorded song and all singers lip sync-ed .. both the team .. that is confirmed

Well Shankar is able to sing the song live, but unfortunately that was not the case this time. It's not possible for him to sing it perfectly like the original and walk around in the audience that the same time. Also Mohit and Mika's performances were so obviously pre-recorded.

I think they played the prerecorded song as a backing track. So the song was playing in the background and Shankarji sang along. And the song is just called 'breathless', in fact there are various places in the song where a trained singer can take a quick breath!

They use backing tracks in lots of live shows for various reasons. Even concerts use backing tracks.

On a similar note, I felt like I could distinctly hear Uditji's version behind Harshit's 'Khaike Paan Banaraswala' at times...

Both Shankar and Harshit sang live. Mika is the only one who sang not with a backing track but a pre-recorded song. Whenever you hear double it is because of feedback from speakers, quite common on live performances.

Hmm.... that could be it. But I do feel that there was a backing track - it sounded like that to me. They were singing live, yes, but it seemed like the backing track was being played, too. Not too sure.

If you could post the video link then I might settle my doubts 😊

What is the use of this reality show when the songs are pre-recorded, the marks that were given to shankar I guess were based on his live performance so that was a kind of cheating if the song was pre-recorded. (The breathless one)

Shanker already sang that song live without music in FARHAN AKHTAR OYE its FRIDAY.

I went to a shankar mahadevan concert last month and he sang breathless there !!! I have seen him myself performing that song........but i know he did say long ago in an interview that he does breathe in between.......its just that its not noticable.......

yes breathless song is fake,its recording voice wen shanakr singing we can see d difference of recording while mike was moving..
All songs r recorded,totally a crap show,fake show to make public fooled ,hate MKMM to make this much crap grand finale,we ve to read from thos MKMM sereis how to manipulate,how to play politics,how to support injustice,this was d lesson we got rom this MKMM.asking votes from live audience for recording songs,too wired...
A totally flop,politics,manipulation show,played with 105 crores of peoples hearts in name of votes..😡

u can't call the song fake and the show useless just coz u dont like shankar. dont make shaan feel ashamed of his fans

Breathless song is really gr8..why criticize the song as fake..
I have heard him sing that song live.

Regarding the show you can have your opinion..but regarding the song being fake is relly not a good statement to make
