Wildcard Round: Himesh Reshammiya - Page 5

OMG😔 had been trying to avoid this for some time. But, i guess wat has to be done, just has to be done. So, after finally summoning enough courage to brave this song i am ready with my marks. I dont feel i can rate any singer below average(not qualified enuf) However, will not go beyond 6 for this. I truly believe that it is not Himesh's best song and should not have been there for this round. Wats the point of keeping better songs for the finals wen such an ordinary song doesn't give u much chance of getting through(not that i believe he could have got thru with any song of his, but atleast we could have been spared the torture ie this song) Anyways, i have been generous and given HR 6 for his honest efforts. He tried hard to put in a lot of emotion into the song. Brought out pain nicely in his voice(atleast it was painful to listen to) But, there should not be any tolerance shown to nasality. Its a big putoff. Spoils the song completely. Also, he has murdered the urdu language which happens to be my mother tongue over and over again in this song😭 His pronunciation of ishq, karz and khushboo is atrocious. Soo, a generous 6(for ssk)

If Himesh gets eliminated, I will too pay a tribute and post his songs everywhere

Ssk mere bhai, all your Himess-ishtyle bhaashans and your belligerent attitude are tribute enough to HR - please don't inflict his singing on us too! 😭

But I'm glad that you are at least making plans for HR's imminent departure from this game. 👍🏼

Although I'm scared you might be using threats of 'HR songs everywhere' to make sure he is not eliminated! 🤢

My advice would be to not post HR songs because you'll look like a follower, not a trendsetter. Also, your tamashas are tribute enough to HR. By putting HR songs next to Sonu/Shankar/Shaan songs in the subsequent rounds, you will only serve to highlight his comparative lack of singing talent!

Even if there are 100 ktopdens on IF, you won't be able to prevent Himesh's departure from this competition. Agar aapke paas ek rupaye ka sikka hai, toh usse padho - kya likha hai? SATYAMEVA JAYATE!

And if Himessbhai does move on in the competition, I will voluntarily give up judging this game, so you need not worry about banning me.

Waise aaj kal Himeshji ke taxes ka kya haal hai?

Also, xobile, remember, the other judges gave 7, 9, and 10. So YOU are the only judge who thinks he can't sing great because you are a hater. The others respect him, and marks of 7, 9, and 10 are good enough to stay with any singer.


So Himesh's songs will be posted in every thread to prove he can sing with anyone!

Frankly, your 'hater' nonsense bores me.

Anyone who reads my review will see that I have given proper, valid reasons for my score. I didn't just say 'Himesh, therefore automatic 1 mark'. My points were objective and fair, not dogmatic like a 'hater'.

Thankfully summer3 and a few readers have supported my right to express my honest opinion without labelling me a 'hater'.

Yes I am the only judge who has the guts to give a professional recording artist below average marks for their singing. But can you fault my argument? NO. Can you prove that (roughly) more than 50% of Bollywood singing is worse than this? NO.

Despite these disagreements I have with your argument/opinion, I am not labelling you at all! I could just say that you're a Himesh fanatic who clearly has a soft spot for HR and is therefore a biased judge. But I don't believe in challenging an argument by discrediting the person presenting that argument (known as an argument ad hominem). And before I slip into ad hominem mode, I shall end this post...
