Exactly. Especially considering they all had respectful opinions. Nothing warranting hate or insults.

IN some ways what you say is correct. They were all right in their own way. I can see that. But, the truth is I can imagine how frustrating it is for Shaan to see all the judges say something is ok even when it is wrong.
Forgetting lyrics when you have literally 1 line in the song is really bad. I would say more like 90% of the song was sung by Rahul. I agree he sang very well. But, there should of been aknowledgement of that in a healthy way by the judges.
What Himesh said at the end had some validity. But, he could of presented in a nicer way. Like, hey we thought that Rahul deserved a 10 for his performance and taking into consideration what you said we reduced it by minus 1.
In fact, what Himesh says many times has some validity but it gets lost in translation with his yelling. Can some1 tell me why he does that????😕
The guy needs to go to some anger management courses. It's really out of hand his behavior. Sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it. Believe me he needs to really evaluate why people hate him so much after having so much fame and talent. There is obviously a reason for that. If he works at mending his ways than he could be really liked. In fact I thought he had some hope, but he proves me wrong over and over again.
I feel bad cuz I was a big fan of Himesh. I even went to his concert and was blown away by his performance skills and the ability to engage the audience in a real way. I actually like Nasal voices. But the guys arrogance just got bigger and bigger. I feel bad I was a huge fan of him at one time. I still will think Tere Naam, Humraaz and Namaste London will stil be some of my favorie music collections. I also love Vineet and Raja, but I can' t imagine what kind of mentoring they are getting. *sigh*
I have lost all respect for the guy and I continue to wish he changes his ways. That he gives up this acting bhooth. That he goes back to composing. That he lends his voice to only 1-2 songs a yr. And he mends his yelling behavior.
I know your his big fan..that is why I say this.
I would not say Shaans behavior was perfect yesterday, but he did apologize for it and he went on to try to explain his point of view again at the end.
Even Shankar must of known that he played the game in a very underhanded way yesterday. But, he did apologize which i think is a mark of a great human being.
I just want to say we all make mistakes. To err is to be human. But, to not have a sense of your own behavior is really narcissistic.
All in all, we must enjoy the music foremost! And the game for what it is...It is only a game and a trp spinner.

Yeah I definitely like I said could understand how Shaan was feeling. And he had the right to be frustrated with what was going on. And like you said, the others also had respectable POVs, and that's just all I was saying. There is no need to hate on the others, because they all did have valid points.

i coudnt agree with you more! 😃

Its like you said...when someone forgets something, but keeps going...then most of the time they are praised for that. In this matter Rahul was rightly praised for handling neetis mistake, which was not wrong
And i remember when Shankar came for the first time against Vineet..i thought it was unfair...But everybody was like: Its not against the rules, Himesh could have come too...
Well now Shankar has come twice and now i also want to say to everyone: Shankar didnt break any rule...Shaan could have come too 😊

As for Shreya, Its true that in a duet sometimes one person only sings a few lines and thats it. I think everyone was completely floored by Rahul, thats why they all were like: Great performance etc. I could understand Shreya because i was thinking the same: mindblowing performance! Didnt care about Neeti, performance was amazing!
But well yes if we have to talk about a fair competition then Shaan was completely right to protest yes.
And i completely agree with you on the Himesh thing. Dont know why people still have something to say about him cause in this episode he was completely fair. Like you said he was very diplomatic and listened to both the captains. Actually in this episode and last episode i found him very calm. He was enjoying both the medleys nicely and even gave a standing ovation, which he rarely does.

Glad others can see from everyone's POV as well. Like I said, it's okay to disagree or agree with some of them, but it's not acceptable to start insulting or hating. Because all of them still had respectable POVs whether you agree or disagree with them.

Great topic ssk - wanted to open such a thread myself, but didn't have the time.

You have outlined how all the judges had a point and nobody was so wrong. And that this is no excuse to start making personal attacks.

Completely agree! I would go one step further and clarify that IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES is it right to start attacking a judge's personality in general.

We are here to discuss their comments, their music, their tactics/gameplay etc. But we have no right to comment on THEM. It is quite wrong for us to start calling Shankar, Himesh, Mika or Shreya (who have borne most of the brunt for last episode) any names or making remarks about their nature in general.

Yes. They all have very valid points. It would be nice if people could express their points in a healthy way.

But, I agree with you...this was a good topic to start.

I was actually shocked with Shreya being criticized. She had a valid point I thought, nothing outrageous like people were suggesting. 😆

She basically thought rRahul sang really well, and it's okay for duets to have mostly one person singing, because that's how it happens in real life too. It's not like it was a rule that duets have to be sung evenly. and even if you don't agree with this, no need to start hating.

And I still don't understand what did Himesh say that people were jumping on him. Like he just gets jumped on for no reason these days. He was really fair and diplomatic interested in what Shaan and Shankar had to say. And it's not like Shaan was in his best behaviior either. Taking off his shirt, leaving the stage, pushing Mika, asking the audience to prove a point, I mean I can understand his frustration though and respect his POV as well.

But I agree with your post. People just go too far.
