Himesh Reshammiya is NOT a better singer than Sonu Nigam Please, comments like this bring upon hate on Himesh, when you overrate him to that degree. Sonu Nigam is one of, if not the most talented singers in India. And Himesh is just not on his level. No matter how much money or fame Himesh acquires, Sonu will remain the better singer.

u know dude ur starting point shud be "u tell all these foolish people" - not to think others foolish

every person is talented and beautiful in their own way , so take a note of that

and rahi baat telling others how great HR is - u dont need to tell , if he is great everybody will accpet that

so my suggestion to u is think strongly abt ur views and carry them forward , but dont bother about what others think , everybody is entitled to their own opinion

and also dont underestimate who is at the opposite side and call him foolish - u never know he might be the next big guy

Hey guys let me begin by saying that I am a huge Shreya fan. However, in this instance even I find it difficult to defend her fully. Still, I will try. I think she had her own opinion on the matter. She thought that the presence of mind shown by Rahul created a moment ahich needed to be appreciated. So far so good. It doesn't mean she is supporting Shankar or anything. But, what I did not like was that she gave the two performances identical marks. Surely, Shaan's team deserved higher marks for their fabulous performance. Judges should appreciate things like presence of mind but not reward these mistakes qith marks, its unfair on the other person.

Still, her decision in no way reflects any opposition for Shaan or bias towards Shankar. As for her tweet, it doesn't matter now. I would have been happier if she had said the same thing on the show itself. So, i request you guyz to show some consideration towards her and not hate her for her mistake. She is truly a nice and humble person and tries to be fair always. I am sure it was not a biased decision. She surely is talented enough to not stoop this low to please music directors. Had that been the case she would have never argued for Abhaas with Himesh as he gives her songs in all his movies. Please be objective and respect our artists more.

Im sorry, is that why shankar had to come down to compete with youngsters twice, cause he is so NOT DESPERATE

Shaan's anger was sparked when he saw his colleagues stooping beyond their stature.

Shaan was expecting a more righteous stand from the rest of the judges including Shankarji, operating under the impression that they are the mentors and idols for the competitors and hence should guide them properly instead of covering up their fault.
Shaan himself has done it many times: he has criticised his own team members when their performance was not upto the mark---he did it for Harshit too this time, telling him where exactly he went wrong. What angered Shaan was the judges shamelessly deviating from the roles of mentors and stooping low for the sake of competition. I have noticed Shaan never supports average performance of his own team, critiques bad performance of other teams and always applauds good performances from other teams too.

Shaan was angered because as mentors they are not expected to do such petty acts for the sake of personal vengeance. His POV is clear in two statements he made:

1. To Shankarji: "If I were you I would not have supported this."
2. To the rest of the judges: " I want somebody to own up honestly what happened here"

which Mohit did to some extent.

It's not a matter of points or winning, it's what they are doing as the mentors ('marg darshak') or guides for the new singers that infuriated Shaan .

Even the other judges sitting had the same opinion during shaan-shanker semis! ok! Shreya isnt scared of shanker, shes bollywoods top singer, she has atleast one song in every movie, she has worked with all directors, she doesnt require any favours!! She has a right to have her own opinion!!!

And honestly speaking, rahul & nitis performance was good although niti forgot her lines, but it wasnt awkward!
