Don't worry guys. This act of Shankar goes on to show how much faith Mr Mahadevan has on his team members. After all he is a very talented person when it comes to music. He knows how pathetic Sharib will sound against Anwesha's melodious voice. So, he saves his face by deciding to sing himself. And the same thing goes for Shadab too.
That Neeti girl is a 'bakwas' singer. I still get nightmares about her 'dola re dola' tribute to Shreya Ghoshal 😆 😆 ....Can imagine what Shreya's condition have been after getting that tribute 😉 ..............
This is all our great Gajji's fault. Why doesn't he get judges who have some parity in status and talent as mentors? He gets two MDs and four singers. It is very much known to everybody that the singers won't risk their career by going against the MDs. They might go to a certain extent but, will eventually give up since it goes against their basic interest..
I can understand that the MDs are those who give chance to the newcomers and if they are involved there, the newcomers have more probability of getting work. He could have got six singers to groom and mentor the contestants and any number of MDs could have been entrusted with the final decision making thing... Instead, he gets Himesh Reshmmiya and Shankar Mahadevan as captains along with four singers, amongst which two are extremely successful and one is an upcoming singer. Mika Singh was brought in just to add to the show's CONTROVERSY QUOTIENT' and he did a brilliant job there....Mika was lucky enough that he didn't get a nice bashing from Mohit when a trashy singer like him started acting like Pandit Jasraj and questioned Mohit's knowledge of 'raaga' on national Television. My respect for Mohit increased manifold that day. I believe his humble attitude won the hearts of many.
If Anwesha or somebody else forgot the lyrics like Neeti did, then all these big talks about 'no excuse on stage', 'being less serious about music' or 'manch ki tauheen' like things will crop up... These judges know what's wrong or right in their heart of hearts but none wants to mess with big MDs.... I would have enjoyed the show more if Sonu, Sunidhi replaced these two MDs as captains. These MDs could be termed ' super captains' or somethin 😆....
Shankar just wants the 'winner' title and hence just doing a 'one man show'. But, I sincerely hope that he will use this discretion while making songs for his movies and will call Anwesha and Shaadab to sing for him as he doesn't think Sharib or anybody from his team to be at par with Shaan's strikers. So, we can conclude that Shankar considers Shaan's strikers as better singers and they are more likely to get chance if the already established singers are not called.. I may be wrong and don't blame me if Shankar decides to sing all the songs himself in is movies too 😆 😆.....
Doston, yahan music ki nahin strategy ki jeet honi hai... Shaan is the best captain by far and I have full faith in Gajji's strategies and I am sure Shaan will not win. I really want that old Gajendrrrra Singhhhh back who brought singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Shaan and others in limelight.
Till then, enjoy good music, spend your hard earned money and don't expect the best team to win... Drama abhi baki hai mere dost... 😛 😛 😛
