It seems all was preplanned.In the first few episodes Aneek was always sent in DJ round so he complained so this time around he was given three songs to sing.

However since he is not in that form as he was in Saregamapa 2007 he could not sing them well.

Gajji made Shaan to get harsh on him and Shaan did gave very harsh comments to Aneek.Personally I did not expect Shaan to be so harsh.

Himesh came on stage to defend Aneek but the same was edited out and not shown in the episode.

His Rang de Basanti was pretty bad!!! He was breathless as hell and I frankly didnt understand either the judge's marks or the audience's marks especially when you compare with Himani in the same round who ended up getting one mark less from the audience!!

Did the audience give its mark based on Himesh's intervention and the short piece that he made aneek sing? If that was indeed the case and I strongly suspect that this is how the cookie must have crumbled, then sad to say it is not fair. Himesh went out of his way in this episode to help further Shreya's cause even later on by giving her unsollicited advice and so on and so forth. NOT FAIR. Himani was absolutely amazing.

I couldn't but help remember how beautifully and with what energy and mind-blowing attitude Raja had handled this song.

Raghuraj do you think you could upload that superb rendition of Raja here please?

These are the songs which make you realize how important breathing control and depth and range matter!!

Thank you for posting it. From the beginning i was telling it. Gajendra singh has done it deliberately. Honestly i am feeling very bad for Aneek. I don't know how you guys are feeling.I strongly suggest that Aneek should leave the show rather than getting humiliated. I understand that he is not in SRGMP form but nobody is in same form except new singers.In that case he should have been given those songs where he can perform better. This is absolutely nonsense.

But Shaan was too harsh.

All the reality show contestents I meet say Shaan is too sweet and always encourages and have good repo with all.

I haven't seen this episode yet. But it's sad to see how Gajji is manipulating this show. Aneek seems so morose and low these days. It seems to me that Gajji cannot get over the fact that he was fired from Saregamapa which was immediately followed by one of the best Challenges where we got the greatest products like Aneek, Raja and Amanat, and Aneek was it's winner. It seems to me that Gajji is taking his revenge on him.

All is i want to say that Aneek is not good as he was in SRGMP 2007.
U2 said that and many of them saying that aneek was not good as SRGMP2007 and many r saying that shreya is not using him correctly..Aneek seems to be nervous,i too saw his performances in SRGMP,but its not much impressive now in his voice.

Am disagree with ur words .And For blaming shaan its just my opinion dont take it personally if u feel wrong am sorry..

Shaan said for "Rang de basanti" song that wat he sing is not much good as was this song..shaan team too got 7 lot ,for Anwesha too said that she was not good in"Deiyan ye mein kahan ah passi"all gaved 7 marks and said u dint sang well.shaan accepted and anwesha too accepted,shreya too with a smile said somewat about anwesha song.
we can able to see anwesha how she disappointed by comments and now again that little angel is going to prove with her song while shaan vs mika.Anwesha is going to get singer of the day.As anwesha tried her best same aneek too wants to show his best ..w/o showing we cant say wat is the prob for aneek..Aneek was too good in SRGMP 2007 but not now..i hope he will show his talent soon in semi-finals by god bless..

As being a judge as far i know about musical reality show many judges like himesh,and a lot in VOI .All judges ve used much much words to contestant if they feel wrong in that contestant songs..All atlast i would say judges ve full rights to say about contestant if they feel some low in thier singing it may shreya ,shankar,or it may shaan or whoever..

And in Billo Rani shaan said dont try to change sounds of billo rani to like somewat billo rani..Judges is there to say about contestant..As far we ve to accept Aneek is not showing his talent as in SRGMP.his voice showing short breath sometime..so pl dont criticise shaan that he did wrong as well dont blame shaan that gajji said him to shaan to use harsh words for Aneek..u dont ve proof..

As i know about Himesh he always used to shout this and that how much part can be showed in 1:30 hrs episode.All Himesh Words cant be showed in telecast,so we can able to see himesh words for aneek which u given in link.Thanks for that.just pray Aneek has to prove his talent by showing how he was good in SRGMP in semi-finals round..

I think that if aneek has lost 25% of his singing ability , Himani has lost it by 50%.I thought that she was just about average. She was singing without feelings.

On the other hand, though aneek's voice is not as good as before..his feelings and sur was very much in place.😃

Shaan of all people should have sympathised with aneek because Shaan himself has a thin voice and prefers romantic songs.Shaan would never be able to sing like Daler- a robust voice.But that is OK since each singer has his strengths and weaknesses.

Aneek attempted a difficult song and so should have been applauded (as done by shankar) and not criticized....😲

I do not think Aneek has deteriorated from his C2007 form. Format and environment is different for this show. Some singers adapt the environment fully some do not. Aneek has never sang good in concert type environment. I went to C2007 contestants concert just after Challenge, and Aneek was not good in that comparable to his performance in C2007. If you observed even in C2007, he was never good while performing/dancing or jumping on stage. If you give him same quiet environment and calm song, he will still do the justice. Whatever Shaan says but Shaan himself is a bad singer in concert environment, he goes out of sur, I have seen him singing in concert.

I really love the way Himesh defended Aneek, first time I like Himesh on stage. It was not like he was forcing his statement but it was correct and genuine statement.
