tho i believe rahul was good singer in ii1 season...but he has lost it ages ago...and that too not because lack of practice (his clear voice and harkatein still speaks for him) but because of his head and attitude...he always tries to do extra harkaatein in every song given to him as if he is constantly trying to prove how learnt he is in da music...forgetting that every song doesnt require harkatein...and most of the time he makes the song he sings slow (i am not telling ke uska taal kaat ta hain) but the song somehow manages to be hanging in the air not flowing in its usual tempo

and his dramabazi ke vaare me the less is said the better

i really feel sorry for him,,,wat a waste of a talent

and yeah tho ameya wasnt in his full form ( i expect much better from him) he is a better singer than todays rahul...and to be more important (to me) is a better man!

Plzz if India would need Amey ,many musicians would have approached him.He would have created his own albums.Let be frankful,the time he left Indian idol,no one actually remembered him,until he came back in Music ka Maha muqabla.Were was he all these years,and y dint people protest for his come back or for his albums.This is what happens with all the reality show singers.They come and go and people forget them,until they come back with a new reality show.
