With each passing day and each new promo, Himesh Reshammiya's first film as an actor, AAP KAA SURROOR, is getting better and bigger. As may be recalled, we have been giving our patrons exclusive information about the movie, right from the Bangkok shooting schedule to the movie's release date and about Asha Bhosle and Himesh making up and singing a song dedicated to her late husband. Here is more now that the music is out and climbing the charts.

It was a big surprise to see the SHOLAY classic, 'Mehbooba', being listed as one of the tracks of AAP KAA SURROOR and with a comment 'A tribute to Panchamda'. The number rendered by Asha Bhosle and Himesh, is a sort of remixed version of the SHOLAY classic, picturised on Helen. Some wondered if Himesh would use the track in Ramu's RAM GOPAL VARMA KE SHOLAY!

However, as per our sources the song will be used as a promotional video of AAP KAA SURROOR. And Mallika will try to step into Helen's shoes! The 'Mehbooba' video will also feature Himesh.

It is believed that Mallika, who plays a negative role in AAP KAA SURROOR, was requested by Himesh to shoot additionally for the promo

Aap Kaa Surroor music released in Pakistan

This is for the first time that the music of an Indian film has been released in Pakistan. Himesh Reshammiya's debut film Aap Ka Surroor, is the first Indian film that has released in Pakistan and is doing extremely well overseas.

Says an elated Himesh, "This will be first Hindi film album that has been permitted for release across the border. The album is my tribute to RD Burman, and boasts names like Asha Bhosle, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Shreya Ghosal."

AAP KAA SURROOR is the film with which Himesh Reshammiya promises to give a tell tale account about his 'real' love life. So much has he involved himself in the cinematic version of his story that ever since the film's promos came out, Himesh has mainly been seen in a mood that fluctuates between being sober and sad. Not that his fans have minded his facial expressions and mannerisms but from a core Hindi film, one expected some fun and 'naach-gaana' to be happening on the screen as well to add on further spice to the proceedings.

Well, Himesh has finally shed his serious tag as acquired during the promos of 'Tanhaiyaan', 'Tera Mera Milna' and 'Assalaam Walekum' and has got into a wide grin with the latest song on air - 'Jhooth Nahi Bolna'.

A pure Bollywood romantic track which features Reshammiya shaking a leg or two with his co-star Hansika Motwani [now rechristened Ria] and a horde of dancers alongside him, 'Jhooth Nahi Bolna' is instantly catchy with a certain Indian feel about it that makes it entertaining in the very first hearing.

Rendered by Reshammiya (are you surprised?) who sings along with Shreya Ghoshal, 'Jhooth Nahi Bolna' boasts of an extensive use of 'tabla' and 'ghunghroo' which reminds one of the Nadeem Shravan score of the mid-90s. But guess no one is complaining at all, as long as Reshammiya is dancing and smiling with his baseball cap and trademark jacket intact!
