Himesh wins Ashatai over!

Singing legend Asha Bhonsle wanted to slap singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya last year, now his music has won her over

All's well that ends well. Especially in Bollywood. And a good example of this is the tension that has defused between Asha Bhonsle and Himesh Reshammiya. They have settled their musical differences and are working together in a song and a show.
Asha, who took offence to something Himesh said about the late love of her life R D Burman, had wanted to slap the Bollywood newcomer last year. Better counsel appears to have prevailed, and now Ashatai has recorded a song titled Mehbooba for a forthcoming film called Aap Kaa Surroor with Himesh.
Incidentally, this was the hit track of the film Sholay that Burmansaab himself had composed in the 1970s and to which Helen famously danced. Mallika Sherawat might feature in her place in the new Asha-Himesh
Mehbooba.
Further, Ashatai has also decided to lend her mellifluous voice to the Himesh track Aashiqui Mein Teri on her world tour in May. She appears to have forgiven the nasal Himesh his comment that "Mukeshsaab and Panchamda were never accused of singing nasally." Ashatai had responded angrily then by saying if she ever came across Himesh, she would slap him!

Himesh bhai travels to Bangkok!
