News is that you've teamed up with Subhash Ghai again after

Kisna.

ARR:
Nothing like that. We Were working on a movie called

MOTHERLAND. It didn't happen because he had date hassles with his

hero. But we've been in touch. Now He's come up with Yuvraj.

Which I've Accepted.

You're judging the Tamil Music Band Hunt show Oo La La?

ARR:
Yes, with Vasundhara Das but it's not on a National Level. Right now

we're only doin 20 episodes. Its restricted to Tamil nadu. If it clicks

there, we'll try to push it on the national level. Large-scale ventures

are possible only if there's time.

what's the news on your music for the stage show, Lord of the

Rings?

ARR:
The preview is on in London already. It releases on June19. The preview

has drawn positive reviews. I'm Quite overwhelmed with that because

I've worked on it for a quite while.

You're suddenly into several anthems.

ARR:
(Laughs) No, no its just that lots of companies approach me for

anthems. The idea has to connect with me instanly, as with Pray for

Me Brother. Taj is aimed at creating awareness to get the Taj into

the list of Seven Wonders of the World. Anthems to find me.

Is Himesh Reshmmiya singing for you?

ARR:
(Laughs) Of course, I Remember he wanted to sing for me. After

asking her to sing for me for 17 years,my sister did just in that in

SIVAJI. I dont think I'll have to wait that long for Himesh.

It's on the Cards. It Should Happen Soon.

hey jem himesh's moms b'day falls on 29th june just like me but i don't want to be his mom 😆 hey u r also june born which date. i got an opportunity to see and hear himesh last year on IBM's global gathering in which president Dr. Abul kalaam also came ,wow yaar what a kind of power this man has got in his lungs ,i shaked my hands with him and didn't washed hands for three days 😳.unfortunately camera and cell phones were not allowed 😭.

And Ash, this time both the contestants of Rock Gharana are in and was highly appreciated

Ash he was not angry on Musharrat, he was mad with Vishal, I dont know whats wrong with this person, he cant appreciate any contestant! Vishal was really irritating, also Ashaji! They wanted Musharrat to sing in differnt genre thay asked if he cant sing in another genre, and it was in a attacking tune, Himeshji took the responsibility on himself and said he Musharrat is singing in a particular genre as he has suggested him to do so. Vishal wanted Musharrat for a week ( 😡)and Himeshji said he cant give him to anyone for "ek minute ke liye bhi"😊 Because if Musharrat goes out of the show that week he cant forgive himself. His point was as its a short term competition, he has to prove himself in this few so he needs to sharpen his strong point first. Himeshji dont want his student sitting in home...he want them to stand on their own pedestal. Bappi Lahiri supported him, but Ashaji complled Musharrat to sing another song. Later ID also supported Musharrat and asked him to listen only his Guru.

And what he said, I agreed 100%. If I was in his place I would advice my student the same. I am proud of Himeshji. He is not only the best singer and composer he is now proving himeself as a responsible mentor too. Hats off to HIM.

Yes, I totally agree with his point of view.. I am not sure what the problem is with Asha.. dont that Mauli girl also sing similar type of songs? She is good but doesnt she stick to certain song only.

Is there anyway, I can get English translations of this Show? because of my language I am missing out a lot.

Yes Badi, Mauli is also singing similar type of songs.

Isnt there any english translation in Saregamapa section? If not I may try to post updates here, if I am allowed.

No Jem, we are not the underdogs, all the contestants in his gharana is good enough this time, last time, it was only Vinit. But this time his contestants have enough chance to reach the final atleast.

Saturday's episode of Zee TV's Sare Ga Ma Pa Challenge will feature some heated words from Himesh Reshmiyaan to Pakistani contestant Mussarat Abbas. .


Mussarat, who sang yet another Rahat Fateh Ali Khan track, Main Jahan Rahoon, made a good attempt but the performance was not at all appreciated by Himesh.

Mussarat says, "Himesh ji is my Guru and if he is upset it is only because he expects a lot out of me. I have sung many compositions and he is upset because I imitate every singer whereas he wants me to sing in my own style. I was honored that he was scolding me in spite me being from Pakistan. Even Asha ji told me that if I continue imitating I will be out of the show so it's better I perform in my own style. I'm here to learn so I am very happy with the way things are going. In the end Himesh ji told me that within 6 months he would give me a break to sing in his film."

Mussarat has the highest regard for Himesh and his music. He says, "He is my idol. I used to listen to his songs in my college library and even in my first episode I have sung a song from his film. I have full faith that Himesh ji will give me break. He knows very well that I am talented."

Now all that's left to see is whether Himesh actually gives Mussarat a break as he said. The episode ends with the songs sung by Desh Gaurav and Amrita. Both of them are eliminated

Thanks for the article Dhruti, but fact was Himeshi liked his performance of Mein Jahan Rahoon. He even mentioned that the song is sang by two singers actually and so Mussarat has done a tough job. He was upset when Mussarat sang the 2nd song.

Himeshji'students believes him Jem, remember what Vinit said on stage on the final of C-2005? " Agar sir mere saath ho to mujhe aur kuchh nehi chaiye" It comes from great respects and believes on a teacher. And ofcourse Himeshji deserves it
