My music journey

Hi. I started learning guitar 7-8 or so years back. I learnt from great tutors online such as Justin Sandercoe, Marty Schwartz, Siggi Mertens and more which I forget right now. From them I learnt guitar basics, different chords, scales, and many different songs as well. I also learnt some bollywood Songs along the way.

Then I started learning EDM music using different software. Now I use LMMS to make my own trance and house music from scratch, even the instruments, but I use the default presets of LMMS, though I can make my own 3xOSC and Triple Oscillator patches. I then apply effects on the instrument such as reverb, delay, chorus/flanger, echo, equalizers, panner, then I pan the instruments, apply sidechain compression on the kick and bass as well. I have learnt basic patterns (such as hi hats on all but volume / frequency raised on (3,7,11,15) / 16 , and 5 and 13 for snare / claps / both , then basic kick on 1, 5, 9, 13 etc). I try to modify them and also make my own patterns. Now I can make completely my own structure in trance, and also plan to do so in big room house, maybe ill try making electro house too, or mixing trance and house but later on I think. I also add reverse effects, such as reverse snare, reverse cymbal, reverse ride, reverse crash and more for build ups, also last but not the least, snare rolls, then more recently in big room, pitch benders.

After that I learnt more house technques as well recently in the style of Epic by Sandro Silva and Quintino more recently Animals by Martin Garrix (So basically I am Martin Garrix, or not maybe he has more professional sounding instruments, or maybe I could use fruity loops and do the same thing?) I also followed a big room house tutorial by Panos Savvidis, and made a couple of songs in the same structure, though I made them some time back so the quality will not be that good.

Coming back to the guitar. So, basically, right now I am perfect at playing basic CAGED chords, power chords, barre chords, different strumming patterns (not many but quite a few), and some more chords and strumming patterns which I learnt by playing various popular rock songs. I plan to make my own rock songs later on in hindi or english or both. But I will start that in 2-3 months I think. But I have my own trance and house songs for now which you can check on my youtube profile.

Right now I have some trance tracks, combined with some big room house tracks. All of them have my tunes the references in the tracks.
