Vivah

By Naughty_n_Nice Caste: Shahid Kapur, Amrita Rao, Anupam Kher, Samir Soni etc... Director: Sooraj Barjatya Prem (Shahid Kapur) is an eligible bachelor, son of a wealthy father in Delhi. He is reluctantly taken to Madhupur to see a girl for marriage. That's where he meets Poonam (Amrita Rao). Their initial awkward meeting slowly turned into something much deeper. They are total contrasts of one another - Prem is wealthy and from the city, while Poonam is an orphan raised by her chacha and chachi. Her chachi, played by Seema Biswas is a well played character and she is always jealous that "her" daughter did not possess the beauty and simplicity of Poonam that attracted so many. Prem and Poonam are soon engaged, and they enter the best times of their lives. Their journey from engagement to marriage is one where love grows slowly and subtly. But, the twist in the tale arrives at the wedding, when something totally unexpected occurs. But that's for you to see. Amrita Rao's acting was simply mind blowing, and reviews are up and running that what Rani, Aishwarya, Kajol and Juhi have achieved in all their years, Amrita Rao has achieved with this single movie! Shahid Kapur as usual acted with vigour and charm and even more usual - He stole the show with his stunning dancing! The movie is not necessarily a must watch, the first half is the usual "Bolly filmi ishtyle", but the story catches on in the second half and the director's talent is shown clearly..... Apna Sapna Money Money

By Naughty_n_nice Another album by the star himself Pritam! He continues his magic in this album too, weaving in the essence of the movie beautifully! He has brought in a various vareity of singers, ranging from Sukhwinder singh, Sunidhi Chauhan and bob to Mika and Alisha Chinoi... The album is extremely pleasing for a hear! The most popular of the tracks is undoubteldly Paisa Paisa by Suzzane Dmello and Humza. Suzzane D'melo is best known for her "Jhoom" in Ek Khiladi ek haseena", and has sung this song beautifully, with the perfect blend of modern as well as Indian styles. Coming to Humza? He stole the show with his brilliant attitude and style! Another popular track would be "Dil mein baji guitar" by Mika. This one is actually very indian, which can clearly be seen from the music video... Other tracks would include Gustakh Nigah, Jai jai money, Sanja Badnaam, and many more... Over-all, the top track would be "Paisa paisa" followedby "Dil mein baji guitar" It is not a must-buy, but some tracks are worth listening to... Rediff Rating:

The song says it all, doesn't it? It is hard to even begin describing this super star. He lives in the heart of many and we call him our Baadshah, Veer, Devdas, Don, Baazigar...and many more. He is known to be humble, caring, a loving father and husband, and a versatile actor. He is the one and only Shah Rukh Khan! This recently turned 41 year old, has acted in about 60 films. However, he didn't just come with the help of family that was part of the industry, like many film stars do today. He did not have any family members in the industry. He worked his way up. He started off with a television serial called "Fauji" (1988) and later on "Circus" (1989). Here his acting was well noticed and he was offered a role in Dil Aashana Hai (1992). However, Deewana (1992) was released before Dil Aashana Hai (DAH) and it became Shah Rukh's Debut film. He also worked in Chamatkar (1992) and Raju Ban Gaya Gentelman (1992) before the release of DAH. His performance in Raju Ban Gaya Gentelman was very well appreciated. Before the release of these movies, Shah Rukh tied the knot with Gauri, who he knew since the time he lived in Delhi, on 25th October, 1991. They are now blessed with two beautiful children: Aryan and Suhana. He continued working with a supporting role in King Uncle (1993) and later on the main role in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Darr, and and Baazigar. He played a negative role in Darr and Baazigar and did a great job in them. All of these movies were super hit at the Box Office and Shah Rukh got recognized as a true star. Baazigar was also the first movie where Shah Rukh and Kajol were paired. "Baazigar oh Baazigar, Tu hai bada Jaadogar"
