Pritam tries recycle funda

Pritam picks a song for Onir's 'Bas Ek Pal' that he had actually composed for Pritish Nandy's 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena'. It was an unused song from an old film that he decided to use in this new one. On this aspect Pritam says, "It's true that a part of the title song in Bas Ek Pal bears a resemblance to a song in Pritish Nandy Communications' Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. But only the first two lines. The song in Ek Khiladi was originally recorded for a PNC film called Ashq. Onir, who I have known for years now, liked the song from Ashq and wanted me to base my Bas Ek Pal song on it. I wanted to compose an album entirely. But due to ill health, I couldn't. So, I wanted to do at least one song for him. The track I've used is one of the best scores of my career so far. And it'd remain a lingering regret that people wouldn't get to hear the songs. The music rights are with PNC. I wish they'd allow me to use the music. But I'd like to add that the song in Bas Ek Pal is only inspired by the song in Ashq. I don't think seeking inspiration at any point of time is wrong." Pritam is a happy man with his new track 'Kya mujhe pyar hai' in Mohit Suri's 'Woh Lamhe' gaining rapid popularity.

Come on Ash! Every one cannot learn every thing, if possible every composer would received awards for their first playback😳
