Thanks, cool! I always thought Brahmahathi meant killing someone, and Rama had to do penance because he did Brahmahathi when he killed Ravana. I also thought going to Rameswaram was the penance for Brahmahathi, so how is it Thatha did not prescribe going to Rameswaram? Most important, hathi refers to killing, so how can it be Brahmahathi if the girl is still alive? Questions, questions, quesitons?
