Like you, I have too have stopped watching the show and was a bit surprised by the preposterous (just for me) revamp theory. Convert it into a comedy ? I mean is there a ctrl/alt/del way to transform a show. Till date I have heard of change of tracks to garner TRPs but how does one revamp a serious show into a comedy without reducing it to a farce.

Anyways, I loved your allegory of a cooking show. Again, it is just my personal view, but I feel that most shows that end up doing well do so because of the struggle they portray of the female protagonist. She is like a mythical Greek hero who has to endure a lot, figuratively slay many a demons to reach the status that earns her her laurels.

Does Gauri fit the bill? She has a doting family, loving fiance, supportive in-laws, so why should I root for her to come out victorious. What are the struggles she is facing? None. The one who is at the receiving end of destiny's tricks is Prateeksha. And Prateeksha is not the HEROINE? Right.

I have no problems in this show becoming a comedy. I too enjoy a good laugh but how do the CVs do it? Is there any way amnesia can be induced in viewers? IMO, they needed to infuse the show with pace and create high drama by some unanticipated twist. Otherwise how are they intending to show the Bhonsles as a bunch of jokers?

Hi Mili😃 missed u Hun... I liked your drawn parallel between a Greek god and the ever suffering Telly heroines... I still am not clear what they really mean by a revamp... Is it a change in tracks or the characterization or the entire premise of the show itself??? the all foretelling future has answers for us in the distance...whether it turns into an out n out comic caper or not.. I am not enjoying the current shifts in characters that I am seeing... Of a NRI turned desi girl who remembers the kitchen, mom,baba,19 to a dozen Bhonsle 's including homely affairs excluding the love of her life Sid.spiteful Asavri whose dreams of going beyond the sidekick are always dashed to turning out the usual dangerous vamp as seen in other predictable kitchen fares with a generous golden dazzle ...I don't want to delve further into the potpourri which doesnot have an alluring scent for me...so will leave it at that...But I hope the bail out helps the people associated with the show.

sorry to butt in. 😳 gauri settling easily at bhonsle hse n environment is something i cannot digest... of course she wants to know her real mum, but she was in overseas all this while, so some discomfort in adjusting in india should have been there in my view...😕

riyya if u say the word "sorry" again😡.mujhe se bura koi nahi hoga...I absolutely agree Gauri doesnot look a girl from south Hampton rather from a posh locality of an Indian metropolitan city...a major disconnect...as a gullible viewer I went along uncomfortably but can she stop galavanting around now and spare consistent thoughts about Sid? The person she professes to love and needs ...there should always be a remembrance time and again .. Just having one random scene in 3 days is just not enough... Even the existence of Garv is a question mark now... I don't know if he fits at all in the story unless they bring him as shivangi's beau...

sorry... opps...😆 noted yaar 😳 garv is ? now... but personally i would love to see triangle between garv, gauri n sid... n i want gauri ending up with garv... it would be interesting to watch... garv n gauri has sparks...😆 hey sid n shivangi will make a good couple as well...😳

My thumbs up to the SGsquare triangle..sparks have gone missing..hopefully they will be back if Gauri goes missing.😆 Shayad tab aaye mausam pyar ka or else it is few more rounds of juice,kheer, puranpoli and few more maharashtrian delicacies .😛 But I feel bad for Garv's kakaji he only got to show a silhouette and nothing more...revamp ne uski rozi roti le li...😉
