Prateeksha aai cornered Sid very well... She conveyed the message well... To him... Sid being Sid had no option left... But there's one thing that caught my attention, will Sid be able to protect gauri at all time...

The highlight of the epi was Sid n gauri convo... I'm quite suprise that gauri ask Sid how could he take decision on her behalf... Of course even as a fiance he has to discuss with her but he has a right in my view... What I can see yday is lose of faith from gauri side in Sid... She was hoping high ... N Sid telling her that let them get married first n he will come n take her aai... Gauri was not convinced in my view.. My heart went to Sid.. Poor guy... He wanted to help but he was cornered badly ... N in my view both Sid n gauri is surely not ready for marriage... Both are frens no doubt but is that enough to go n step in the world of marriage... Garv could play with this situation in favour of him even making gauri agreeing in terms to make a win win situation... He gets her out of her problem n he gets what he wants... He wants revenge from appa saheb... N what r the better ways than making gauri his...

Amrita situation is kind of bad in that hse too... N too note why all these days appa saheb never send prateeksha away all these years... G3 mentioned it yday...

This episode was good. We saw behind the veneer of passivity that Gauri puts on. She is caught in a dilemma wherein she is feeling that she is being pushed to a corner and sooner or later, she will be forced to take a decision. Should she stay behind and offer the emotional support that her mother so desperately needs or should she go with Sid and lead the life that she was meant to live.

It is at this point that I feel her frustration was not so much that other people are taking decisions on her behalf ( I personally feel that it suits her when others lay down rules for her) but the inevitability of assuming responsibility and making a choice which will end up hurting either Sid or Prateeksha, the loves of her life. Hence the anger, the anguish.

The romance between Sid and Gauri is candyfloss which may not be able the withstand the intrigues of the Bhonsles.

Is it possible that Gauri will take a decision that may show her up as a sacrificing soul but really achieves what her heart wants at this point of time, be with her mother.

IMO, Gauri does not want to take the plunge right now and expects Sid to understand that. The words she wanted from Sid was that OK, take your time, I will wait for you. That did not happen, hence, her irritatability with Sid. Ofc, Sid's insecurity too is human and understandable.

in the epi i liked the way prateeksha told sid what she wants and no doubt she made him promise also as both of them wants gauri's saftety. and way sid told asavari that her ayi is right i loved it. actually i always liked the irritated asavari. but the convo between sid and gauri was mind blowing. it hurts when u fully realy on ur patner as the last hope and then such thing happens. but are sid promised himself to be on gauri's side no matter what,just like a very good friend. i loved the whole epi. but precap horrified me specially when garv said he will forcefully stop gauri.

Like you said, Sid is promising things left right and centre... and all his promises are at odds with each other. He simply cannot satisfy everyone. Its the first time he has failed Gauri. Their relationship has been smooth and easy so far and the cracks are going to appear quickly.

Sumitra did say in an earlier episode that she did not want Gauri to face the same fate as the other daughters of the family. She and Amrutha have already faced it.. Question is, does AS not know the status quo and if he does why is he letting it continue??
