Roadies, the name itself strikes a powerful image in your mind. The stunts, the dares, the back stabbing, the vile flow of words is synonymous with the show. But the biggest association to Roadies is the Trinity - Raghu, Rajiv and Ranvijay Singh. Each season breaks its previous benchmark with its concepts, drama, chosen contestants, stunts that test your physical and mental capacity. It sets new standards and threshold for reality T.V. But the person who strings the sequences together is the host Ranvijay Singh. We pin down this former Roadie winner turned host and put him in the hot seat.

How is it teaming up again with Raghu and Rajiv?
It is an awesome experience. No words can describe it. We are close friends and chill together whenever time permits, since we are family guys. It's great to work with them and the best part was that we got to spend four months together. This time I was also on the judging panel. Work is pleasurable when I have to work with them.

Which is your favourite task of Roadies 8?
Every task is different and has a striking element in it but my favourite one was the bullock cart task, it was really tough. Then the task related to fire was interesting, Raghu got burnt in the trial task. The Samba dance was awesome, too.

Who is your favourite contestant in this season?
I can't have a favourite contestant being the host of the show. It will be biased but I really respect Suchit, Anamika, Pooja and Mohit as they proved themselves time and again. They never indulged in fights and other nuisances. Their performances speak for themselves.

Tell us your journey on Roadies, from being a contestant to a winner, to an anchor and now a judge?
It has been a natural and a gradual process. It is a journey that has become an integral part of my life. I am the only person who has been a part of every season I have gone through every phase and have experienced it all. Thankfully, Raghu and Rajiv are a part of it and working with them is a great pleasure. This year I was on the panel of judges so it was good fun.

How would you describe Raghu and Rajiv?
Both of them are quite similar, funny, witty, idealistic, hardworking, and intelligent and it's my pleasure to work with them. They just love to be real and not fake.

What are your upcoming projects?
I will be hosting Stunt Mania on MTV which will start on 26th June. I am also the member of the biking community since 10-12 years so it will be great fun. I have just finished Nagesh Kukunoor's film.
