On a more serious note, the kids are very young. Manas has no memory of Sakshi at all. Purvi, on the other hand, gave them love and acceptance at time when their own father was distant with them. Of course they love her more.
Sakshi's priority is Virendra, not the children. And that is very evident in the way she sticks to Vir. She wants to feed and be fed the first bite from Vir, but has not been shown to feed the children?
She was oh-so-eager to have a second honeymoon with Vir and had no qualms of leaving the kids with Purvi, whom she thought was a servant.
I'm not sure what efforts of her are you referring to?
Spot on!! ππΌ

Whatever efforts Sakshi is putting now is just plain wrong. The upcoming drama of killing herself is psychotic. Nobody can(should not) force another person to love them.
A happy marriage and family is not a coincidence. Everyone involved has the onus to make it work. In Sakshi's case, she was missing for a good chunk of time, esp the formative years of the kids. That mother-child bond is not easy to establish, sometimes cannot be established at all unfortunately. Reg. her relationship with Vir, as said above, she cannot force him to like her. If she had an self-respect, she would first think of getting out of the marriage and not forcefully woo him.
Secondly, there is mountain of difference in Vir's imagination and the real Sakshi chars. Perhaps, if she was like his imagination, she would not have a hard time fitting back in to her family.
Overall, Sakshi's char has not been fleshed properly in the story. This coupled with very poor scripting, acting (lack of it) and being a thorn for PurVir etc contributes to viewers not liking her char.
