This gif is where I first noticed it, how beautiful two people holding hands can be. This is the moment that gave meaning to the words "your hands touching mine, this is how galaxies collide". The strength in his hand, the softness in hers.

There is something so secure, safe about his hands, whether it be the veins 😆, the rough edges, the strong grip, and also to some extent those traditional metal rings, one of which is actually a lion.

And there is something so poignant and simple about a hand hold, which fills you with so much love and courage, trust.
