Agreed.. He uses Sakshi as a defense mechanism. Almost as if he's trying to convince himself that he still loves Sakshi the way he used to. I also felt that he's reaction to Purvi wearing Sakshi's clothes and jewellery was so extreme because he had began liking Purvi and those clothes just reminded him that she's not Sakshi and therefore his feelings are all wrong. Perhaps he lashed out on the account of his guilt more than anything.
