You know Guys ...............I get the feeling that in this Satnaam case, as usual Raj will blindly believe Takla and fight his case accordingly ..........

But ..........here, Kranti will realise somethings is fishy (especially about the eyewitness) and I feel she will be the one to bring it to Raj's attention ............... (that's putting it mildly 😆😆😆 ...........most likely she'll hold his collar and say "Dumbo cant you see this is a cooked up case ).........

Then this combined with the events in the house (where Kranti has already started feeling like she is a member of the family) may cause Raj to take her seriously .............

Maybe this in turn will lead to his changeover ..........

Dew and Dawn,

One thing... if Satnam Singh killed that British officer, it would have been the talk of the town... , So, R... in his zeal to toe the Britishers line is again all ready to manipulate things without digging deep.

What kind of lawyer is R, taking everything at face value... not even trying to probe a little to build his case. Professionally, he might have won cases but he is not talented enough to succeed in the long run.

On the contrary An.. KKs do most of their activities in hiding.. you can see it in Rang De Basanti also.. when Chandrashekhar Azad and his team shot dead those two british policeman, they did it under guise, and they escaped soon after.

Even if the regular Junta knows abt this, they wud support the KKs and keep mum, not blow the whistle on them.

IN this show also, initially, the KKs were always covered up, even Kranti was.. she never disclosed the fact that she was a KK..

So no one basically knows who killed them.. same cud be the case here.. And I clearly remember Raj asking the Takla, "Was there a witness"? to which the Takla replied in the affirmative.

Which strongly corroborates the fact that Raj knows his subject very well, and is a damn good lawyer.

Hmmm.. there is a possibility Dawn.. that there wud be unethical facts which Kranti is privy to, and which she wud sensitise Raj abt..

Or, on the other hand, she wud do everything to make him lose the case, and once he has lost and gets in the bad books of the Takla, he will see for himself how mean and conniving the Takla in particular, and the British Raj is, in general.

But... people do talk about it Dew... and I believe Azad was seen as krantikari who followed non-violent means... as per Kranti, Satnam Singh followed non-voilent mode of protest, it must be well known. May be, R returned from England and is not aware about the happenings around him.

1. he won the press case by becoming their lawyer and taking away their papers... did he won on arguments and facts. NO.

2. he planted a gun to make Mama jee witness... and when it failed, he followed baldies instructions... where did he use his mind other than in planting the gun.

3. The two examples above should give him enough idea that what the baldie says is not what is right. He asked, is there witness, baldie said yes, and nothing further to ask. Who, where, how... when... and etc... he skips.

He is not a competent one.

An, Jo is best to answer issues like these, she churns up facts and instances like a walking Wiki.. but my defence is this..

The fact that Raj was corced to use unthical means by the Takla, post mamaji turning hostile witness, doesnt reflect on his competence as a lawyer. Its only that Takla cudnt afford to lose the case at any cost.. and he manipluated everything to the effect,and it had been made a private hearing too.. Raj was personally not comfortable during the whole hasty sentencing, .. that cud be seen on his face, but out of his dad's loyalty, he carried out the dirty work.

He walked out in the middle of the hanging too..

During the press case, he had been clearly told to hand over the original set of documents to the Takla, which he did..

Unethical, but he had taken the case in the first place, to lose it.. and he did.. which makes him a competent lawyer.. both his cases had outcomes that HE wanted..

If he had done the same thing in favor of KK's and against the British Raj (which he might well be doing after a while) , we wud have found him very competent. Just because he is working as an anti hero, doesnt make an incompetent lawyer.

Raj was really careless ..........how could he forget he shares a room with a KK ?

Dawn and Ena I think Raj was still trying to recover from the shock that he got in the morning thanks to the dupatta fiasco😉😆😆

Anshu when u hv blind faith on someone then u tend to bleieve all his words and actions..Remember when Raj came to know that Guns were exported in their trucks during the Sohan Tauji fiasco.,he did questioned the Takla about it😳 but Takla managed to convince him by saying that it was just a military consignment and later Kulbhushan too asked Raj never to question the britishers again as they r always right..now if the father himself is telling his son to follow the wrong path then how can we expect the son to b Satyavadi Yudhisthir😆😕...thats why I keep saying that a child's upbringing is very important😃...

Also he is not taking anything on face value..those files clearly showed that the britishers hv got enough proofs to prove that Satnam Singh is guilty and Raj is just believing in those proofs...

Till now noone has ever tried to show the other side of the coin to him..mayb this time Kranti will do it😳
