Well, I m glad that this forum is starting to get active (though I also like the fact that it is not overcrowded at the moment)😉

I started watching this serial arond a week ago, and am hooked.. its the only one I am watching these days.. and man, its intense !! I went back and caught all episodes from the start.

Love the two protagonists.. wot perfect foils to each other.. apart from the difference in their lifestyles, there is a complete 180 degree difference in ideologies.. and NATURES.

She is passionate about her country, family and values, she is brave yet emotional, and doesnt hesitate to voice her thoughts, to whosover it may concern, and she is upto all challenges. And she is pretty, to boot.

He is brooding, intense, keeps his thoughts and emotions to himself, lets his silence do all the talking, definitely believes British Raj is good for the country and is yet to find a cause to be passionate about. He never gets riled (only exception being his face-offs with Kranti, funny that EACH one of them work him upto boiling point). To put it simply, nothing or no-one stimulates him as much as Kranti does. Therefore, he is on his way towards finding his cause to be passionate about.

My biggest observation since their first meeting, why does Kranti always feel the need to break him in with her way of thinking? We have seen that she never leaves a chance to put him down and taunt him on his preference for all things and thoughts British. But y does the fact rile her so much? There are many other people around, who subscribe to British Raj, but why has she singled him out for her tirades, why so much personal interest in his views and thoughts? Intriguing thought na..

My answer to this, we all saw how Raj reacted the first time he saw Kranti's face.. he was totally knocked out.. but at the same time, she was not so unafffected by him, as she pretends to be. Hence his total unconcern for his country and the freedom struggle irk her to the point of extreme. Its so very explicit, that she wants him to see things the way SHE sees them. That subconsciously, she wants him to be the way she is. Hence she ends up demonstrating to him always, as to how he IS, which is not wot she wants him to BE.

Am keenly looking forward to who ends up taming whom in this face-off. 😊

I believe she hates him 🤔 I don't see any feelings in her....Now that she works for him..proximity..is also one reason..she gets irked up

I think..the way Sanjay handled the alliance..issue..and raj having a part in it..completely turned kranti against raj

Raj..definetely has a corner for her in his heart 😆 which r in initial stages of Love

She definitely hates him, and strongly ..there is no doubt about that. but she is very strongly aware of him too.. he's become a thorn in her backside.. and the irony is, he is not doing anything to gain that effect. he never provokes/retailiates to what she does.. with her, its the contrary.. she goes out of her way to be nasty to him..ALWAYS..

She definitely hates him, and strongly ..there is no doubt about that. but she is very strongly aware of him too.. he's become a thorn in her backside.. and the irony is, he is not doing anything to gain that effect. he never provokes/retailiates to what she does.. with her, its the contrary.. she goes out of her way to be nasty to him..ALWAYS..

He has his own subtle way of reacting. After the court case, he did give it back to her. I want to see how the story moves ahead after they come together, how their different personalities react to each other.

Yes, he is subtle.. he is polished.. and she is so basic.. given to venting out what she feels. Hope they continue to irk each other, just by being the way they are.

U know the funniest thing is both always try to instigate each other for no reason😆😉..

See when Raj backstabbed Prem babu in that printing press case,that time he first went to Kranti to tell her .."See I won over u..u were right but u couldn't proved it..yayyy"😆...He was delighted like a small boy just because he won over Kranti😆😉..

And then when Raj's friend Sanjay was linemarofying on Nirmal by becoming Mr.Dicosta,that time Kranti went upto Raj and bashed him like anything and even helded him responsible for everything even though it was not his fault😕😆...

Again in Amritsar Kranti was hving some fun by making Raj deliberately follow her when she was in that Rajasthani outfit😉..and when Raj was caught by that police...somehow Kranti only saved him😕😛

Somehow both get a sadistic pleasure by instigating each other for no specific reason😉😆..

Hai yeh Kambakht Ishq😆😳

Yes, thats the whole observation, its always that they are trying to get the better of the other. Kranti's first day at work, when he piled her with the case files, and then made her wait when she came to his place.

She is always trying to gain the upper hand too. Its like, they both are trying to prove a point, but this great urge overwhelms them only in front of each other. Nirmal has even pointed it out to Kranti, as to why she always brings Raj in any discussion they have.

Its a simple matter of being obsessed with each other. 😛

yeah!!.eventhough they "hate" eachother.....they still cant live wid seeing eachother .whether it 'following' or 'killing' planning. they are obsessed.

....for kranti she has 'made sure' dat raj is helping British (when she saw him giving press file to some general and loosing case). She does not want to think positive about Raj because she thinks whatever he does it is going to be for 'angrez'.

and .raj ......well we dont know what to say.......he is achchambid (surprised) by seing a very strong girl in a british ruled country. He thinks she is up to sumthing but he does not know what is he up to.....always following and thinking for a valid reason for her action.......She joined court and tried to do what was she told....but still he made her suffer by giving so much work.......and interesting thing he even ate her food.........pooor thing could not eat due to pending work.

......I mean they both are trying to be even if one is causing trouble is court.....so another is outside court.............but their tirade continues....

Obsessed is the word......... Kranti's definitely feeing the heat tooo....... she's led a very narrow life ...... her home ... where there's the routine scoldings of Mamiji and with the Krantikaris ....... where they plot against the british ....... so both these scenarios are known to her and she has adapted to them .......she has not faced anyone like Raj ..... who seems to easily subdue her in everything without even lifting a finger ......... she doesn't like this feeling of helplessness...... he brings out emotions so strong in her that she went to the extent of trying to kill him as well .......... he's well and truly entrenched in her mental radar now and she fighting that tooth and nail.

Same's the case with Raj too ...... he has grown in the lap of luxury and never felt the need to fight for anything ..... he was floored by a spitfire indian girl who had the cheek to wave a burning torch at his face .... he cannot comprehend such vehemance in anything ........ the more he sees her the more she intrigues him ....... and he cant seem to leave her alone ..... and after being in the company of his sis-in-law and laajo.... Kranti definitely stands out in the crowd for him ...... his senses kinda get heightened in her prescence ............

👏👏👏 Amazingly put DI.. I agree with each thought and statement, couldnt have put it better.

btw, I think, she hit him with that burning torch..there was a thud of it hitting his cheek when he was remembering her on his visit to see Nirmal. But I still cant get over the look on his face when he had seen her face for the first time, with his mouth agape. 😆

@ Seebz., I absolutely loved him in the scene where he was nibbling at her lunch box. And that was some backhanded compliment abt her cooking. The man has charm 😉
