Chapter 7
Nupur shared her darkest secret with Gunjan. She explained her how it happened. She never intended to but what happened
could not be changed. Nupur was crying hard. Gunjan who heard the story word by word was speechless. All she told Nupur was
she needed rest and promised to talk to her in the morning. With this Gunjan went to her bedroom.
Nupur could not sleep in the room. She wandered out of her bedroom and started walking around the house. Suddenly she saw the door of the store room open. She remembered she had kept Samrat's gift in the room. She rushed towards the room to grab it.As soon as she picked the gift, she saw a photograph that fell on the floor.
It was a picture of Gunjan. She was dressed beautifully and was dancing with a guy. They certainly had a great comfort level with each other. The guy was looking at Gunjan with a soft smile on his face. He had a charm and ellegance which was not common and to top it all it was him!
Everything fell in place. Samrat and gang were planted in Nupur's life by him. It was done smartly.Firstly they targeted her stylist Imam, so that he is fired, then very smartly Samrat was brought into the picture. Slowly Nupur was introduced to the gang,his aides.And like an idiot Nupur revealed her biggest life secret to his aide Gunjan. Mayank Sharma had really trapped her. But Nupur still was hurt thinking of Gunjan. In Gunjan she saw her baby sister who was burnt in the house as a kid. Then it stuck her, Mayank somehow knew her childhood pretty well and he exploited her feelings. He intentionally named this fraud Gunjan. Nupur missed the sweet face of her younger sister.
Suddenly Nupur's eye fell on the gift she brought for Samrat. She tore the wrapper and read the line "Yaaro dosti badi hi haseen hai , ye nah ho toh bolo kya fir zindagi hai". In her mind she thought that how true the lines were. Mayank's friends did stand up for him. They didnot think twice before hurting Nupur.
Even after all this Nupur didnot loose the control over herself today, she had to end it. Today Mayank had to come clean.
He had to spill the beans. He knew things which she had not told anybody. Still he knew everything to such a level. he had to explain her why, how?
She moved out of the house in her car. She zoomed past the main gate. In her mind she could feel the betrayal she faced and suddenly she could hear her mother's scream. Tears were rolling down her eyes. But she didnot stop.
She reached Mayank's house. She went to open the door but found it open. without blinking an eye she barged inside the house.She could hear certain voices, they were not pleasant. Nupur moved towards the voices. Mayank was talking to a person and they were discussing Nupur. Nupur stood by the door,she could see inside the room but the people in the room didnot feel her presence, she saw Ratna sitting next to Mayank. Ratna was furious. She screamt on top of her voice "Stop targeting Nupur and get away from our lives". Nupur felt sad, Mayank had not only disturbed her, he created a mess for her mother Ratna too. Before Nupur could say or do anything Mayank replied in one quick sentence, "I donot beleive this, of all people you think that Nupur is my target, it's u Mrs. Ratna Bhushan. Nupur was just a medium of hitting you where it pains the most."
