Arjun Bijlani returns to TV with a fiction show :TOI

Bindaas' Yeh Hai Aashiqui produced by Lost Boy Production's and BBC has been roping in some of the popular faces of the small screen in each episode and now we hear that for the upcoming episode the makers have finalized TV heartthrob Arjun Bijlani, Perneet Chauhan and Rucha Gujrati.


Sources inform that the story will revolve around a couple played by Arjun and Perneet who are madly in love with each other. However, both their families are against their relationship and because of some misunderstandings, the couple gets separated. Arjun, will be seen playing the role of Varun, an assistant director by profession who loves his girlfriend (Parneet Chauhan) but he gets involved in a relationship with Rucha Gujrati's character which leads to more problems between Varun and his girlfriend. However, Varun realizes his mistake and tries to get back to his girlfriend.

When contacted, Arjun said, "I have never done an episodic show and this is the first time I am doing it. It's a nice experience. We have already started shooting from today. I was initially not very keen on doing an episodic but I share a very good relationship with both the producers of the show BBC and Vikas Gupta so I agreed to it. Also the story and character I was offered were interesting."
