Mayank was immediately taken to hospital and Nupur somehow managed to inform her family.When they arrived,they found Nupur all covered with blood on her dress.Maadhvi walked towards her and asked,"Kya hua Nupur?Kaise hua ye sab?"Nupur was still crying and told them everything and said,"Doctor usey andar test ke liye lekar gaye hai uske baad hi tey karenge ke kya karna hai."Nupur joined her hands in front of Maadhvi and said,"Mujhe maaf kar dijiye mummyji,main jaanti hu ke ye sab mere hi vajah se hua hai,na main ice-cream ke liye zidd karti aur naahi Mayank waha jaata aur ye accident hota."Maadhvi held her hands and said,"Tu apne aap ko dosh mat de beta,tune to bas ice-cream hi maanga tha aur tujhe thore hi na pata tha ke aisa hone waala hai.Vo tera pati hai,tu jaan bujh kar thore hi apne pati ki buraai chahegi.Tu fikar mat kar beta hamaare Mayank ko kuch nehi hoga."The doctor came out and informed that he had severe injuries in his head and needed to be operated as soon as possible and so the formalities should be completed as soon as possible.Dhruv and Shekhar completed all the necessary formalities and gave all the medicines and necessary amount of blood.When Mayank was being taken away for operation,Nupur said in her mind,"Iam sorry Mayank aaj mere vajah se hi tumhaari ye haalat hai.Ek baar tum thik ho kar ghar waapas aa jaao,I promise uske baad tumhe kabhi koi taklif nehi hogi."He was taken inside the OT and was being operated.After 2-3 hours of operation,the doctor came out and then informed them that the operation was successful and the patient is out of danger but he should be taken care since they are unable to say anything with surety until and unless he regains consciousness and at night only one would be allowed to stay with the patient in the room.After the doctor left,Nupur said,"Main yaha rahungi aap log ghar chale jaaiye."Maadhvi said,"Nehi beta tu akele kya karegi yaha?Dhruv reh jaayega aur doctor ne kaha hai na ke vo abhi khatre se bahaar hai.Tu subhe aa jaana."Nupur said,"Nehi mummyji main yehi rahungi,varna mujhe sukoon nehi milega."Shekhar said,"Rehne do Maadhvi isey Mayank ke paas.Par filhaal ke liye Nupur ghar jaao,waha khaana kha kar,kapre badalkar aao yaha,tabtak main aur Dhruv yaha rahenge.Maadhvi isey lekar jaao."Nupur agreed and left for home.When she reached home,they found a worried Payal walking like a mad and when she saw them,she enquired about them anxiously.Nupur informed her about his successful operation and Payal said,"Main to bachcho ke vajah se usey dekhne tak nehi ja paayi."Nupur said,"Darne ki koi baat nehi hai didi,vo thik hai.Abhi bhaiya aur papaji hai waha,main khaana kha kar kapre badalkar waha chali jaaungi."Payal agreed to her and then served dinner to both Nupur and Maadhvi.

While Nupur was going out to reach the hospital,Payal gave her a box of food and asked her to eat them,if she is hungry and also a bottle of water.When Nupur reached Mayank's cabin,she found that he was sleeping.She came towards him and sat on the tool beside him.She held his hand and said,"Maine tumhe ice-cream lekar aane ko kaha isiliye na tumhaari ye haalat ho gayi?I know main bohot buri hu,hamesha tumpar chillati hu,tumse jhagra karti hu,par I swear main tumhaara kabhi bhi bura nehi chahti hu.Jab tumhaare saath kuch bhi achcha hota hai na to mujhe bhi bohot khushi hoti hai.Ye jo tumne apni mehnat se itne saare paise kamaaye hai na,tumhe pata hai mujhe kitni khushi hui hai.Mujhe tumse aajkal jhagarna achcha nehi lagta hai...I mean...achcha lagta hai,par...utna bhi nehi.Par jab main ye sochti hu na ke mujhe...mujhe ye ghar chor kar jaana hoga,tab main bohot upset ho jaati hu,par mujhe ye samajhme nehi aata hai ke vo upsetness,ghar chorne ke vajah se hai ya..."She looked at him and then if forcibly trying to satisfy her own ego said,"Nehi ghar chorne ke vajah se hi hai aur kisi ke vajah se nehi."She rubbed his head and said,"Abhi tum so jaao,main bhi soti hu yahi pe taaki agar tumhe kabhi kisi cheez ki zarurat pare to main tumhaari madat kar saku."She then whispered into his ears,"Vaise ek aur baat bataau...tum utne bhi bure nehi ho.Ha thore spoilt ho,par tumhaara dil achcha hai."She removed her hand from his and kept staring at him until and unless sleep surrounded her eyes.Next morning,Payal woke Nupur up in the morning.Nupur,was like dumbstruck on seeing Payal in there and she asked,"Didi aap yaha kaise...I mean kab...???"Payal replied,"Main abhi aayi aur phir dekha ke tu yaha bethe bethe hi so gayi.Kal raat ko shaayad neend bohot der se aayi hai na?Koi baat nehi aisa hota hai kyuki neend kal raat ko mujhe bilkul bhi nehi aayi,bas isi baat ka intezaar tha ke main kab yaha aaungi.Bachcho ko mummyji ke paas chorkar main yaha bhaag kar chali aayi.Khair main tere liye naashta lekar aayi hu,jaakar kha le."Nupur said,"Main kaise kha sakti hu,yaha to Mayank..."Her eyes fall on Mayank and she found that he was looking at her with a slight smile on his lips.She was surprised more and asked,"Tum kab uthe aur tum...Tum thik to ho na?"Nupur sat on the bed out of excitement and she hugged him.She said,"Tum thik ho na Mayank??I thought I have lost you.Agar tumhe kuch ho jaata na to main apne aap ko kabhi maaf nehi kar paati.I swear...main..."Mayank slowly whispered into her ears,"Hum yaha akele nehi hai.Baaki ka bedroom mein continue karenge na,don't worry."Nupur immediately left him and found that he was giving her a wicked smile.Payal cleared heer throat and signalled at the door.Nupur and Mayank looked there and found Dhruv and Shekhar had arrived alongwith the doctor.The doctor wished Mayank and checked his pulse and said,"Well pulse to sab aapke bilkul thik hai,filhaal,hum aaj aapke saare tests dubaara se karenge uske baad aapko kab discharge karna hai vo tey karenge."After some family chatting,Dhruv and Shekhar decided to stay in the hospital and the ladies were sent home.Nupur was not ready to leave but she was forced and was persuaded saying that after some rest,she will ome in the hospital again.

After 48 hours,Mayank was able to sit on the bed properly with a bandage around his right arm.Nupur prepared soup for Mayank and brought it for him.While she was feeding him,he asked,"Kya tumhe pehle kisi ne ye bataya hai ke tum sote huye bohot...khubsurat lagti ho?"Nupur looked at him with a jerk and asked,"What???"He replied,"Maine ye kaha ke tum sote huye bohot khubsurat lagti ho."She asked,"Tumhe kya aaj ye pehli baar pata chala?"He said,"No aisi baat nehi hai par actually hamesha tum mujhse subhe pehle uthti ho na,par usdin jab tum yaha bethe bethe so gayi thi tab main tumse pehle utha tha aur isliye aaj se pehle maine tumhe kabhi utne gehri neend mein sote huye dekha nehi tha na to main...Pata hai tab mere dil ne mujhse kya kaha?"She asked,"Kya?"He brought his face near her and asked,"Mere dil ne mujhse ye kaha ke..."She looked at him with immense eagerness and then Mayank continued,"Mere dil ne mujhse kaha ke tumhaare upar main ek glass thanda paani daal du jaise ke tumne mujhpar daala tha,pehle din,par phir mujhe ye ehsaas hua ke main tumhaare jaisa nehi hu,isiliye maine tumhe sone diya."Nupur,out of anger dropped the spoon on the soup bowl and said,"Thik hai jab tum mere jaise nehi ho to main tumhe soup pilaane mein khaamakha apni energy kyu barbaad kar rahi hu.Khud kha lo."She was about to get up and leave from there but he grabbed her hand and stopped her and said,"Tum to ekdam traditional biwio ki tarah naraaz ho jaati ho Nupur,main to mazaak kar raha tha.Actually mer dil kar raha tha ke main tumhe bas dekhta hi jaau,dekhta hi jaau par usse pehle hi bhabhi aa gayi aur..."Nupur was about to say something but she was again interrupted by Payal.She said,"Lo aa gayi main,mere baare mein kya baate ho rahi thi?"Mayank said,"Nehi bhabhi kuch khaas baate nehi ho rahi thi,par ek baat hai aapki ye nakhrewaali devraani hai na.Aisi haalat mein bhi apne pati se jhagra karti hai."Payal said,"Tune hi zarur kuch kaha hoga varna ye bohot samajhdaar hai."He made a face and then pouted and said in a complaining tone,"Ha jab se ye aayi hai tab se sab usiki tarafdaari karte rehte hai,meri to kisiko parvaah hi nehi hai."Dhruv entered and replied,"Parvaah hi nehi bohot zyaada parvaah haisabko aur teri biwi ko to sabse zyaada hai,samajh mein aayi baat.Filhaal tere saare reports bilkul thik hai aur 3-4 mahine tak kamsekam to pura rest lena parega,achcha hai iske parties to kamsekam kuch din bandh rahenge."Mayank glared at him and said,"Bhaiya,ab main khud kamaata hu,isiliye ye sab bolne ki zarurat nehi hai."Dhruv said,"Ha thik hai chal abhi.Payal zara isey tayyar kardo aur Nupur iska samaan pack kardo."Nupur packed his luggage and Payal helped Mayank changing his dress.After that they all left from there taking Mayank back home.

In his room,Mayank was resting when Nupur brought juice for him.She gave her the juice but he didn't take it and said,"Mom kehti hai ke kabhi daayne haath se nehi khaate."She replied,"Par ye to peene ki cheez hai na aur paani bhi to tum baay haath se hi peete ho na?"He said,"Par ye to paani nehi hai."He gave a meaningful smile.Nupur smiled back and kept the glass of juice on the table and then helped him to get up and sit properly.

Surkh wala, sauz wala,Faiz wala love.

She made him sit on the bed and then helped him to drink his juice.

After helping him with the juice,Nupur left from there.After an hour when she again returned,she found Mayank had already taken bath and was trying hard to put on his T-shirt.She came to his aid and tried to help him.While doing so,they came very closer to each other.She was feeling very embarrassed as she was never close to him and that too in his bare body,in senses.Nupur,was looking everywhere else in the room except towards him and he was just doing the opposite.

Meri neend jaise pehli baar tooti hai.
Aankhein mal ke dekhi hai maine subah.
Hui dhoop zyada leke teri roshni din chadha.

When Nupur looked at him he just lowered his eyes and looked around everywhere except towards her.

Jhanke badalon ki jaali ke peechhe se.
Kare chandani ye mujhko ittala.
Leke noor sara chand mera yahin pe hai chhupa chhupa hua.

Nupur,after helping him with his T-shirt,was about to leave but Mayank stopped her and she turned towards him with a jerk.After that he slowly pulled her towards himself and brought her more close towards him.When she was pretty close enough,he looked into her eyes in a very passionate way and then to hr disgust,he handed her a comb and pointed towards his hair.Nupur was like if should have got a chance,she would have broken his head.She took the comb from his hand and combed hi hair.While she was combing his hair,he was laughing by ressing his lips.

After a few days,Nupur started taking Mayank for a walk,every evening.While on the road,when Mayank saw an ice-cream van.He offered her one ice-cream but she rejected and asked him that they should reurn home now.

Hote hote hoga samjhaye hum.
Tham jaa aye tham O dil mere.

In the dinner table,Nupur served food to everyone.Dhruv brought Mayank in to the dining table to have dinner with everyone.Mayank and Nupur looked towards each other.

Toota jaata jaata taara jab gira.
Zara zyada zyada maangu dil tera.
Kabhi zyada zyada maane na dil ye sarphira.

Nupur served food to him.While he was trying to eat with his left hand,the spoon slipped from his hand and the food fall on his shirt.Before anyone could help him,Nupur ran to him and with a napkin washed his T-shirt.After that,she fed him.On seeing that,Payal knocked Dhruv on his elbow and both Looked at each other and smiled.

Bada ye dil nadaan tha, par aaj kuch zyada hua.

Jo khone ka tha dar tujhe pata nahi kyu zyada hua.

Nupur and Mayank looked at each other.

After the dinner,Nupur held Mayank's right arm and put it around her shoulder and slowly took him towards their bedroom.When they reached there,she helped him to change into his robes and gave him his medicines.

After that she made him lie down on the bed and put on the blanket and rubbed off his head.While doing so,her hair fall on his face and they had an eye lock.
