While driving back from the hotel,all of Mayank's gang members,except Samrat and Mayank,were cursing Nupur.Samrat was scolding them,especially Ravi and Vishal.He said,"Ek to tum dono ko peene ke baad hosh nehi rehta aur upar se tum us larki ko gaaliya de rahe ho.Usne jo kiya vo uska kaam tha.Tum dono ko kya zarurat thi us bartender ko maarne ki?Sharam to tum dono ko aani chahiye ke party mein sabke saamne ek larki ne tum dono ko thappar maar diya.By the way agar us larki ne tum dono ko aur do lagaaye hote na to bhi mujhe bilkul bhi bura nehi lagta."Ravi asked,"Abey tu hamaara dost hoke uski tarafdaari kar raha hai?"Samrat replied,"Main kisiki tarafdaari nehi kar raha hu.Tum dono ne galti ki hai jiske vajah se puri party kharaab ho gayi hai,aur galat ko galat kehne mein kamsekam main to nehi hichkichaunga."He turned to Shalini,"Aur tum.Kisike baare mein bhi bina jaane koi bhi comment pass mat kiya karo.Har larki na tumhaare jaisi mentality waali nehi hoti.Aaj subhe jo tumhaare saath hua na Shalini,you deserved it."Shalini turned her face away,as she knew how Samrat was.So she decided not to argue with him.Mayank was the only one who was totally silent.He didn't utter a single word.A storm was blowing inside his heart.He dropped everyone to their respective homes.When he dropped Samrat,he,after getting out said,"Dekh Mayank,main achchi tarah se jaanta hu ke tere andar kya chal raha hai.Man sirf itna hi kehna chahta hu ke tu apne is gusse ko control mein rakh aur apna hosh khoke aisa koi kaam mat karna jisse ke baad mein tujhe pareshaani uthaani pari."Mayank didn't reply him and left.
[ SHARMA MANSION ]
After reaching home,Mayank walked straight towards his room.At that time,Payal was waiting for him.She was surprised because his parties always ends when the sun peeps in the sky.She called him from back,"Kya hua Mayank,aaj to tuney party di thi na?Itni jaldi waapas kaise aa gaya?"Mayank replied,"Koi baat nehi hai bhabhi.Aap jaake so jaiye."She asked,"Tuney khaana to khaaya hai na?Nehi khaaya hai to main tere liye khaana lagaau kya?"He stopped at his bedroom entrance and replied,"Koi zarurat nehi hai bhabhi.Mujhe bhookh nehi hai."Saying,he slammed the door.She understood that he was upset so she decided to leave him alone and returned to her bedroom.
It was about 2am.Everyone in the house were immersed in their sleep,except Mayank as if sleep has been driven far away from his eyes.The only thing that was moving in front of his eyes was Nupur's face.Her words were constantly hitting his mind.He,for a single second,was not able to forget her.The TV was on and the remote was in his hand.He was frowning more and more in anger whenever he used to remember how Nupur threw him and his guests out of the hotel.At one moment,his anger got so out of control that he threw the remote on the TV and as a result both the TV and the remote broke.His eyes were burning like fire.He said,"I won't leave you Miss Nupur Bhushan.Is beizzati ka badla to main tumse lekar rahunga."
Next morning,Mayank woke up more late than as usual.His tomato coloured eyes clearly showed that he couldn't sleep last night.When he sat at the dining table,Payal served him the breakfast.She moved her hand lovingly on his head and asked,"Kya baat hai Mayank,tu bohot pareshaan lag raha hai,koi problem ho gayi hai kya?"Mayank didn't reply anything.She sat beside him and asked,"Bol na Mayank,kya hua?Kal raat se tera mood ukhra hua hai.Tuney khaana bhi nehi khaaya kal aur upar se teri aakhe saaf saaf bol rahi hai ke kal raat ko tu thik se soya bhi nehi hai.Bata na mera bachcha,kya hua?"At that time,both Shekhar and Dhruv came out in the living room,to take their lunch packet for office.Dhruv heard their convo.He looked at Mayank's face and understood that something very serious had happened with him last night.Dhruv asked,"Mayank,kya hai?Bhabhi kuch puch rahi hai na,jawaab kyu nehi deta?"He,still kept quiet.Dhruv shook him,"Koi kaand vaand to karke nehi aaya hai tu?Kahi kisi larki ka koi...""Stop it bhaiya!"Mayank threw the spoon and roared at Dhruv.With the same attitude,he said,"Aapko to bas mujhe sunaane ya daatne ke alaava kuch aur aata hi nehi hai.Kya samajhte hai aap mujhe?Kya main aapko itna ghatiya lagta hu?"He stopped to take breath and then closed his eyes in disappointment,"Ek to uske vajah se mera dimaag kharaab hai upar se aap bhi shuru ho gaye."Payal interrupted,"To vohi to puch rahe hai na tujhse ke kyu kharaab hai tera mood?Kya hua aur tu kiske baare mein baat kar raha hai?"Mayank grinned,"Kal raat ko jaha humne party ki thi usi hotel ki manager Miss Nupur Bhushan."Dhruv asked,"Kya kiya hai usne?"Mayank replied,"Mere saare guests ke saamne meri aur mere dosto ki gandi tarah se beizzati ki aur phir hume hotel se bahaar nikaal diya."Dhruv smirked and muttered,"Bohot achcha kiya.Saare isi laayak ho."Payal angrily asked,"Kuch kaha aapne?"Dhruv scarefully replied,"Nehi nehi kuch nehi."Payal looked at Mayank and said,"Puri baat bataa."In reply,Mayank described both the incidents of last day.On hearing this,Dhruv and Shekhar burst out into laughter.Their laughing sound made Maadhvi came out of the kitchen,as she was busy in helping Payal.She asked,"Kya hua,dono baap-bete itne zor zor se has kyu rahe ho?"Dhruv replied,"Aap sunengi na ma to aap bhi has has ke lot pot ho jaayengi."Saying,he repeated the whole story.Maadhvi,too,laughed on hearing this.Payal got irritated and said,"Aap sab please hasna bandh kijiye.Pehle hi mera Mayank itna pareshaan hai upar se aap sab milke uska mazaak ura rahe hai."Dhruv said,"To hasey nehi to aur kya kare?The great Mayank Sharma ke is kaarnaame ko sunke har koi bhi has has ke paagal hi ho jaayega."Mayank,with a disturbed look,looked at Payal.She scolded Dhruv,"Please Dhruv,ye abhi bohot gusse mein hai,aap usey aur gussa mat dilaiye."Dhruv,now changed his expression and taunted Mayank,"Nehi Payal,tumhaare laadle devar ko is baat par gussa nehi aa raha hai ke ek larki ne pehle beech sarak pe aur phir hotel mein uski beizzati ki,balki usey gussa is baat par aa raha hai ke us larki ne isey aaina dikhaaya hai."Mayank glared at Dhruv.He continued,"Tu na aise dekh mat mere taraf.Us larki ne jo bhi kiya bikul thik kiya.Tere group mein sivaay Samrat ke saare ke saare aiyyaash hai.Main to us larki ke attitude se bohot impress hu.Tujhe kya lagta hai ke hamesha tu Sharma's ka naam istemaal karke apni manmaani karta rahega aur tujhe koi kuch kehne waala nehi hoga?You deserved it whatever happened with you last day aur tu is maamle mein kamsekam mujhse ya papa se kisi bhi tarah ke help ki ummeed mat rakhna."Mayank got up from his seat and taunted Dhruv,"Jaanta hu bhaiya,isiliye main aapse koi ummeed karta bhi nehi hu.Main sirf itna jaanna chahta hu ke aap mere saath abhi us hotel mein challenge ya nehi?"Dhruv asked,"Kyu jaana hai phir se tujhe wahape?Phir se beizzat hone ka iraada hai kya?"Mayank replied,"Mujhe us hotel ke chairman se baat karni hai.Kisiko uski aukaad bataani hai."Dhruv understood the meaning.He got up from his chair with the lunch packet and said,"Sorry bro,aaj meri ek bohot hi important meeting hai,varna aaj agar tu na bhi kehta to bhi main waha zarur jaata.Teri madat karne nehi balki us larki ko shabaashi dene.I honestly appreciate her for her job."Saying so,Dhruv took his lunch packet and left.Shekhar,too before leaving said,"Sharam aani chahiye tujhe Mayank.Ek bahaar ki larki ne teri is tarah se beizzati ki hai,par tu hai ke bajaaye sharminda hone ke uspe gussa kar raha hai.Aur kitna mazaak banaayega tu hamaare naam ka?Control yourself Mayank,before its too late."He disappointedly nodded his head and left.Mayank punched on the table and said,"Sab mujhe hi galat samajhte hai."He turned towards Payal and said,"Meri kya galti hai isme bhabhi?Kal raat hotel mein Ravi aur Vishal ne saara drama kiya tha.Maine to ye bhi kaha tha ke main us bartender ke ilaaj ka saara kharcha uthaane ko tayyar hu,par..."Payal made him sit on the chair and said,"Pehle tu khaana kha.Kal raat se kuch nehi khaaya hai mere bachche ne."She forwarded a piece of food in front of his mouth,but he denied.Payal made a face and asked,"Ab mere haath se nehi khaayega,kya?"Mayank,at first made a face but later on ate it.Payal,while feeding him said,"Dekh Mayank,us larki,Nupur ne jo bhi kiya vo uska kaam tha.Aakhir usey isi baat ki to salary milti hai aur ye baat bhi sach hai ke Samrat ko chorkar tere group mein koi bhi achcha nehi hai.Tu in sab se jitna ho sake door raha kar.Vo party tuney di thi to zaahir si baat hai agar waha tere party mein koi gadbadi hoti hai to uski zimmedaari bhi teri hi hogi aur dekh aaj unke vajah se tujhe kitna sunna para.Abhi ke liye tu apna saara gussa thook de aur phir pehle jaakar apne dosto se baat kar."Mayank silently finished his breakfast and then left from there.While getting ready for going out,Mayank said to himself,"Bhabhi ne thik hi kaha.Mujhe pehle Ravi aur Vishal se baat karni hogi aur rahi baat us Nupur Bhushan ki to ussey to nipatna parega hi.After all,usey bhi to pata chale ke usne panga kisse liya hai."
[ BHUSHAN HOUSE ]
At the breakfast table,while serving the food,Suhani asked,"Achcha ek baat to bataa Nupur,tere hotel mein kal raat ki vo party itni jaldi khatam kaise ho gayi?"Nupur,while applying,butter on the bread,very casually replied,"Khatam nehi hui bhabhi,maine khatam karva di."Gayatri asked,"Matlab?"In reply,Nupur described the whole incident to them.Adhiraj exclaimed,"Sharma Group of Industries!!!Tujhe pata bhi hai kaun hai vo?Bohot powerful log hai vo aur kuch bhi kar sakte hai.Tujhe kya zarurat thi ussey panga lene ki?"Nupur replied,"Dekho bhaiya,main kisise nehi darti aur aise logo se to bilkul bhi nehi aur naahi mujhe apne kiye ka koi pachtaava hai."Gayatri said,"Arey jo bhi ho,hai to tu larki hi na.Agar kuch ho gaya ya phir usne tujhe koi nuksaan pohchaaya to?Hum to kahike nehi rahenge aakhir tu hai to hamaari ek lauti beti hi na."Nupur irritatingly said,"Uff oh ma!Bandh karo apna ye melodrama."Gayatri said,"Melodrama???Teri fikar karti hu ye melodrama hai?Main ma hu aur agar teri is harkat se kalko mere parivaar pe koi musibat aayi to main tujhe bilkul bhi maaf nehi karungi.Aakhir tujhe zarurat kya hai,har jagah apni manmaani karne ki?"Nupur shouted,"Please ma-""Bas bohot ho gaya",Inder raised his voice.He continued,"Meri beti ne jo kuch bhi kiya,bilkul thik kiya.Aisi manmaaniya bilkul bhi sehni nehi chahiye."He looked at Gayatri,"Tum kaisi ma ho Gayatri?Tumhe to apni beti pe naaz hona chahiye ke usne anyay ko barhaava nehi diya aur tum ho ki bajaaye usey shabaashi dene ke,isey suna rahi ho?"Gayatri said,"Aap kabhi nehi samjhenge ek ma ke dar ko.Aap-"Inder stopped her and said,"Ab is baare mein mujhe koi bhi behes nehi chahiye aur naahi Nupur ko is baat ko leke koi kuch kahega.Ye mera hukum hai."He finished his breakfast and returned to his room.Gayatri taunted Nupur,"Tere papa ke isi shey ke vajah se tu itni sar char gayi hai.Mera kya hai jo mann mein aaye vo karo baad mein jab musibat mein parogi tab yaad aaungi main."Nupur din't utter a single word since it was useless,so,she silently finished her breakfast and got ready for her hotel.
Mayank,at first drove to Samrat's home where he called others.On reaching there,he went straight to Samrat's room where all were waiting.He,at first grabbed both Ravi and Vishal's collars and asked,"Kal tum dono ke vajah se us larki se mujhe jo kuch bhi sunna para,kya us baare mein tum dono ko kuch kehna hai?"Ravi and Vishal both lowered their heads.Mayank grinned,"Aise sar jhukaake khare mat raho.Tum dono ko pata hai aaj mujhe,tum dono ke vajah se bhaiya aur dad ke saamne sharminda bhi hona para hai.Mayank Sharma,jiske saamne aajtak kisine muh kholne ki bhi jurrat nehi ki,usey kal sabke saamne itna beizzat hona para sirf tum dono ke vajah se."He scolded them bitterly.Ravi apologized,"Sorry yaar Mayank,ab ho gayi na humse galti.Maaf karde hume."Shalini put her hand on Mayank's shoulder and added,"Ha Mayank,vo dono hosh mein nehi the.Ab maaf bhi kardo inhe.Pehle ye socho ke us larki ke saath kya karna hai."Mayank,removed her hand and said,"Vaise tum bhi to kuch kam nehi ho Shalini.Khud larki hoke ek dusri larki ki izzat bhi karna nehi jaanti?"He looked at 3 of them and said,"Vo chahe jaisi bhi thi par ek larki thi.Maine tum logo se bohot baar kaha hai ke kisi bhi larki ke baare mein kabhi bhi koi galat shabd mat nikaalna.I just hate that thing,lekin tum teeno to apne harkato se baaz hi nehi aate."3 of them apologized to him.Mayank forgave them and said,"Us larki ke saath kya karna hai,vo maine soch liya hai.Filhaal tum sab chalo.Main tumhe chor deta hu."He dropped Shalini,Ravi and Vishal at a common point and took Samrat alongwith him to the hotel.
In the hotel,Nupur as usual entered at the correct time in her cabin.She was working,when the peon informed that the Chairman,Mr Chopra is calling her.Nupur told him that she'll be there within a few minutes.When she entered Mr Chopra's cabin,she found Mayank and Samrat sitting there.She didn't miss the cruel smile on his lips,which was welcoming her.Nupur completely ignored him and asked Mr Chopra,"Sir aapne mujhe bulaaya?"He replied,"Yes Nupur.Ye main kya sun raha hu ke kal tumne hamaare guests ko beizzat karke hotel se bahaar nikaal diya?Tum aisa kaise kar sakti ho?Tum hamare hotel ki sabse efficient employee ho aur sabse zyaada zimmedaar bhi.Main hamesha tumhaare attitude aur dignity ke vajah se tumhaari izzat ki hai,par maine tumse kabhi bhi itne unprofessionalism ki ummeed nehi ki thi.No Nupur Iam really very disappointed with you."She looked at Mayank,who was giving her a taunting smile.Nupur,then looked straight towards Mr Chopra and said,"Iam sorry Sir,par Mr Sharma ke ek dost ne hamaare bartender ko bohot buri tarah se punch karke ghaayal kar diya aur is baat ka na to inhe aur na to inke dost ko koi fark para.Unke dost purey nashe mein dhoot the aur situation kahi aur bhi kharaab na ho jaaye isiliye mujhe ye party bandh karvaani pari."Mr Chopra angrily asked,"Tum jaanti bhi ho ke tumne kiske saath ye badsaluki ki hai?Ye Mr Mayank Sharma hai.Sharma Group of Industries ke waaris."Nupur replied,"Main jaanti hu Sir.Par mujhe salary is hotel mein kaam karne ki milti hai aur maine sab kuch is hotel ke rules and regulation ko dhyaan mein rakh kar kiya hai."Now Mayank opened his mouth,"Dekhiye Mr Chopra,main manta hu ke mere dosto se galti hui hai aur main us bartender ke ilaaj ka saara kharcha bhi uthaane ko tayyar tha,lekin Miss Sharma ne meri ek bhi baat nehi suni."Mr Chopra asked,"Ek maamuli se bartender ke liye tumne itna drama kiya?"Nupur,with a shocked expression replied,"Maamuli sa bartender???Sir hamare yaha jo bhi jabtak kaam karta hai,unki responsibility hamaari hoti hai.Aap aise kaise keh sakte hai?"Mr Chopra replied,"To kya main uske liye inhe jail bhijvaadu?"Nupur asked,"To aapke kehne ke mutaabik to agar kal ko mujhe kuch ho jaayega,tab to aap sirf paise deke apni responsibility se haath dho denge hai na?"Mr Chopra now got very irritated and said,"Ab tum zyaada hi baat ko bara rahi ho Nupur.Apni bakwaas bandh karo aur chupchap Mr Sharma se maafi maango."She looked at Mayank and then turned her face away from him and said,"Maine jo kiya us baat ka na to mujhe koi pachtaava hai aur na main is baat ke liye kisise maafi maangne ki zarurat samajhti hu."Mayank got up from his chair and said,"Ab ye hamaari bohot zyaada hi insult ho rahi hai Mr Chopra."Mr Chopra apologized to him and then ordered Nupur,"Nupur,abhi ke abhi maafi mango."She thought for a few minutes and then asked,"Sir kya mujhe 15 minute ka time mil sakta hai?"Mr Chopra asked,"Kyu?"She requested,"Please Sir."He granted her permission.Nupur returned to her cabin and then came back to Mr Chopra's cabin exactly after 15 minutes.She stood in front of her with her hands on the back.She,with a straight face asked,"Sir agar main inse maafi na maangu to sazaa mein mujhe kya mil sakti hai?"Mr Chopra tightened his jaws and said,"Agar tumne inse maafi nehi maangi to shaayad tumhe is naukri se haath dhona pare."Nupur took a deep breath replied,"Uski koi zarurat nehi hai Sir.Ye raha mera resignation letter."She put the envelope on the table and said,"Aapki nazar mein kisi bhi insaan ki keemat na bhi ho sakti hai Sir,par mere nazar mein hai aur main aisi jagah,aise soch waale logo ke saath kaam nehi kar sakti jo insaan ko insaan nehi samajhte.Thank you and Good bye Sir."Nupur left the cabin.Mayank never imagined it even in his most worst nightmare that someone could be so stubborn like her.Mr Chopra again apologized to her and Mayank and Samrat shook hands with him and left.
When they again came out,both again faced Nupur.Mayank and Nupur again exchanged a tough look with each other.He grinned,"Bohot akar hai na tumhe?Samajhti kya ho khudko?"He then mocked,"Dekha aaj apne hi bartaav aur maafi na maangne ke vajah se tumhe apni naukri gavaani pari."Nupur corrected,"Gavaayi nehi hai Mr Mayank Sharma,maine naukri khud chori hai aur mujhe is baat ka bilkul bhi gham nehi hai kyuki tumhaare jaise insaan ke saamne jhukne se to yehi mujhe sabse zyaada better option laga."Mayank came closer to Nupur,raised his finger on her face and grinned,"Tum..."Nupur,too came more closer to him and asked,"Kya?"Mayank said,"Why don't you go to hell?"Nupur asked,"Why?Do you want to accompany me there?"They were so hyper at each other that they didn't realize,they were standing too close to each other such that their breaths were falling on each other's face.Feeling that the situation might get much more worst,Samrat pulled him outside.While going out,Mayank said,"Tumhaara ye ghamand main ek din torkar rahunga."Nupur replied,"You are most welcome."When they both reached Mayank's car,Samrat said,"Jo bhi kehle Mayank larki mein vaakayi dum hai."Mayank started the car and asked,"Kya tu ye chahta hai ke main tujhe beech sarak mein le jaakar gaari se utaardu?"Samrat understood the meaning and became quiet and Mayank drove away from the hotel.
[ SHARMA MANSION ]
At night,in the dinner table,Mayank was moving the spoon in the dish but was not eating.Payal asked,"Khaana kyu nehi kha raha hai Mayank,kya hua?"He disturbingly replied,"Kuch nehi bhabhi."Dhruv asked,"Aaj tu hotel jaanewaala tha na,kya hua?"and then mocked,"Kahi us larki ne phir se to nehi jhaar diya tujhe?"Payal removed the plate from in front of Dhruv and then said,"Agar khaane ke table mein beth kar aapko mere Mayank ki khichaayi karni hai to aap apne kamre mein jaiye,main aapka dinner vahi bhijwa dungi."Dhruv made a baby face,"Kya Payal,hamesha tum mujhipar chillati rehti ho."She asked,"Aur aap jo hamesha mere bachche ko tang karte rehte ho vo?"Dhruv became quiet.She asked Mayank,"Ha Mayank,bol kya baat hai?"Mayank replied,"Main vaha us hotel mein gaya tha us Nupur ke baare mein complain karne.Mr Chopra,I mean uske boss ne mujhse co-operate karte huye,usey mujhse maafi bhi maangne ko kaha,yahatak ki usey dhamki bhi di ke agar usne mujhse maafi nehi maangi to usey naukri se bhi nikaal denge lekin..."Shekhar asked,"Lekin kya?"Mayank's eyes glowed with anger,"Lekin us ariyal larki ne khud hi apni job se resign kar diya."Everyone except Mayank lokked at each other.Payal asked,"Resign kar diya?Par kyu?"Mayank,at this could not hold his anger and grinned,"Mere puchne par vo...vo baddimaag larki mujhe bolti hai ke mere saamne jhukne se to zyaada achcha uske liye naukri chor dena hai."Saying,started taking deep breath out of anger.Dhruv,at this could not stop himself and exclaimed,"Vaah!Kya larki hai!Uff main kyu nehi aaya tere saath us larki se milne?Damn it!"Mayank made a face,"Aapko to jaise bohot mazaa aa raha hai?"Dhruv replied,"Of course!Kyu nehi aayega bataa?Jis larki ne injustice ke aagey apna sar nehi jhukaaya,naukri ke liye jis larki ne apni self-respect ko nehi chora,vo larki to sach mein hi taarif ke kaabil hai."Mayank got up from his chair,"Ha aap to khush honge hi.Mere har insult se aapko khushi hi to milti hai."Dhruv,too taunted,"Par ek bhi beizzati se tu koi sabak bhi to nehi sikhta."Mayank,without completing his dinner went to his room.Payal tried to stop him but she failed.She said to Dhruv,"Abhi aapko ye sab kehne ki kya zarurat thi?Khaana bhi nehi khaane diya usko."She disappointedly nodded her head and took his plate to his room.When she left,Shekhar admired Nupur and said,"Aajkal aisi gairatmand larki dekhne ko nehi milti hai."Maadhvi said,"Hume us larki ke liye kuch karni chahiye."Dhruv said,"Ha ma,jisne mere bhai ko aisa muh tod jawaab diya hai uske liye to kuch karna hi parega.Don't worry I'll handle it."He smiled.
