Currently, many actors have hit headlines for being detained at different airports across the globe. The latest being Miley Jab Hum Tum actor Mohit Sehgal who was recently detained at Delhi airport.
Our source informs, "Mohit while travelling back to Mumbai from Delhi decided to carry an air gun with him but little did he know what was coming his way. Everything seemed to be normal when he passed through the scanning machine in the airport. However, as soon as he boarded the flight airport officials got him off the flight and asked him to open his bag since they thought that he was carrying an illegal weapon with him. Meanwhile Mohit tried convincing the officers that it was just an air gun but they refused to listen. Later they asked him to leave the bag at the airport and board the flight but Mohit refused. After a huge ruckus it was finally clarified that the gun Mohit was carrying was an air gun."
Mohit who confirmed the news said, "(Laughs) It was really an embarrassing situation for me but I was fortunate enough that the misunderstanding was soon cleared. The gun is part of my childhood memory which was lying at my home at Delhi, so I thought of carrying it to Mumbai. And when I told this to Sanaya she was shocked to hear this. So the entire episode was quite funny."
