I must say, I was rather surprised at her actions when she saw me. I mean, I knew she was a bit excitable, but I didn't expect that she would jump up on her bed and start jumping up and down and shouting. Anyway, I figured maybe it was some some strange human ritual. Normally, I would have stayed down and let her get on with it untill she got hungry enough to eat cake, but I was hungry too, and I figured that maybe if I joined her in her ritual, she might finish it off faster and start eating sooner. So I got on the bed with her and started jumping as well.

🤣 🤣 🤣 That was sooo funny Diya... 🤣 How beautifully you pored out those emotions fro the POV of a mouse.. 🤣
Lolzzzz ... I think I've seen WAY too many Disney movies ... Lion King and the mice in Cinderella keep popping into my head for some strange reason 🤣🤣🤣

"I know," he replied very softly, so that she wouldn't hear, "I mean, I understand ... but do you mind disappearing for a bit? She doesn't like you very much '"

Awwwwww...... 😍 😍 That reminded me of the kites thingy in Monaya interview.. 😆 San scolding and Mohit insisting on giving a chocolate o them.. Awwww...
❤️
OMG ... Sumi, I didn't realise when i wrote this, but you're so right ... San shouting and scolding ... and Mohit trying to calm down the situation by giving chocolates to the kids ... and cheese to the mouse ... 🤣

"Um ... Mr. Mouse? Just one last thing ... could you do me a favour? Could you pay a visit every other day or so ... just a brief glimpse, you know ... nothing more ... and I'd chase you out. It could be a game ... just between you and me ..."

I can very well imagine Mohit saying this.. ☺️ 😍 Such a Chance pe Dance marofy type of peron i tell you.. ☺️ 🤣 🤣 Diya you wrote it beauutifully.. 😍 This deal was indeed very very witty.. 😉 🤗

Loved the wole idea.. 😆 🤗 🤗

That part was totally inspired from Mohit maroing chance pe dance on the kiss idea ... 🤣🤣🤣 seemed like the kind of thing he would love to do 🤣

Jeez, i miss these two and their masti .. always brings a huge smile to my face and makes my day ... wish we see them back again on screen soon!!! Thanks for liking this nonsensical post, Sumi! 🤣

Gosh, this mouse has made me lose it 🤣 you have the excuse of exams ... I have none!!! 🤣
Has that Gr8 magazine come out yet??? We need some distractions from mice!

WOW, Divya...........mindblowing post. It is very very amazing that you have developed the interview into an OS.......just amazing. Loved each & every line which is having that humorous touch. Earlier I had gone thro' your posts which were having some sort of emotional touch to sajan moments. This is quite contrast to your style of expression ( at least as far as your previous posts I remember )and I have enjoyed reading your post........👏

Perhaps this is the first time that Mouse' POV is expressed brilliantly in a romantic story.

Sabah, that was so sweet ... thank you so much for your lovely comment ... am so glad you liked this little piece of nonsense ... I guess sometimes humour can bring out some truths more effectively ... and it sure reaches more people ... 😛

As for the difference in mice and rats and their 'status' ... I would love to take the credit, but in all honsety, I cannot ... I owe thanks to some wonderful Disney movies, which present some wonderful truths in the most delightful and amusing way, they were the original inspiration for the idea of heirarchy in the animal kingdom ... 😆 although the title of the piece of course is directly from Steinbeck ... with the most important addition ... of Sanaya 😆 ... who, as you rightly put it, makes all the difference 😆

Thank you so much - am delighted that you enjoyed this!

The pleasure was ALL mine, so please do not embarrass me further by thanking me for enjoying your piece, when I did nothing except notice beauty.

True Disney have opened new horizons in terms of how we regard the animal kingdom, but before them it was Dr Doolittle and before that Orwell, and before that...

At the end of the day who knows the source of that pure creation from our wild imaginations.

Diya, your piece was just inspired. It truly ranks as one of the best things I have read on IF.

As for nonsensical sense or sensible nonsense, however you wish to view it, I wrote a piece a while back which I feel is apt and you are more than welcome to ignore...
...just watch the interview once again. 😆Not that you are in need of any nudge from me. 😛

Love Sabah

Have you ever seen the night sky naked and bright? Those stars lit up in delight?

Who would have thought that people would find guidance in such randomness? Navigating paths of enlightenment out of nonsense.

How is it that our heart's lens fails to perceive perfection of destiny? Nothing artful or coined but only artfully considered deliverance. What the eyesight finds as randomness, the heart's lens fixes in retrospect by a soul fixated to its radiance; that is destiny.

Despite destiny's daily dose of destructive propaganda upon TV, it is a master that compels belief and complementing trust.

Thanks Lakshmi 😃... well, SaJan were always a very emotional story, so my posts on them were usually emotional ... though i have had some funny discussion as well ... But good humour is really very difficult to write, so I'm am actually surprised ... and extremely thrilled 😉 ... that so many people enjoyed this little bit of nonsense 😆 Again, I'd give complete credit to Sanaya and the way she described her mouse story ... she made it so funny that the whole scene came to life! 😆

Now you're embarassing me ... 😳 ... thank you so much again, am truly touched and delighted by your words ...

And your words were beautiful ... so true, the heart can perceive and recognize gems in the smallest and most random sights and sounds, where the senses see them as nonsense and whimsical, the heart recognises their purity and essence and guides the mind ...
So is our brain truly master ... or do our hearts still guide us? For me, I believe it's the latter ... we are still emotional creatures, far more than the little mouse, whose only need was his physical sustenance ... We need far more to feed our souls ... and even in the randomness of much of what is shown on TV these days, we can find beauty ... if we can open our eyes and more importantly, our hearts to it.

Dear Diya,

@So is our brain truly master ... or do our hearts still guide us? For me, I believe it's the latter ... we are still emotional creatures, far more than the little mouse, whose only need was his physical sustenance ... We need far more to feed our souls ... and even in the randomness of much of what is shown on TV these days, we can find beauty ... if we can open our eyes and more importantly, our hearts to it.

I loved the part above in red.

I just love destiny. I just wrote a piece on Heart Vs Mind, as inspired by a recent bones episode, which I am again pasting below, let us not call this repeating but recycling😳

In the heart vs. mind debate, I have never agreed with the whole heart MUST win or rather the 'heart wants what it wants'

For me the heart 'may' incline towards things but the intellect must also play an important part too, unduly inflicting pain upon the heart when it 'guides' away from that what it wants. However in the long run it is all for the best. I see it like a parent child relationship. The child of the heart keeps us young, in wonder at the world whilst the adult of the mind makes sure we don't fall off the 'cliff edge' whilst we gaze at the horizon in awe.

However recently I was asked about the issue of the sea shell. I do not know if you were ever told the 'lie', as most children are told by adults, that when you place a seashell against your ear you will hear the sound of the ocean. In actuality it is the blood rushing past your ear drums that you hear.

However I prefer to think of it in another way.

True, ultimately I accept or submit to the truth of the mind and so speak such with my lips, 'it is only your blood rushing past' but I let my heart hold on to its own truth 'it is the ocean's call home' and so thereby let that truth suffuse through my soul in hopes that I may NOT remain untouched.
