mjht has become very drab n silly now...one of the reasons I used to like it was that it was realistic unlike other over the top senseless dramas...sadly it has joined this category since the nupur track started...the shabby treatment of the play, the rushed frivolous changes in the ongoing intense Sajan track, the character of Ashwini which was developing nicely as a troubled girl infatuated with a man in love with someone else,the abrupt end to the heart-touching track of Mayank on his way to self-healing.....ahhhhh...mjht was going so well..I was really appreciating the way it had evolved into a mature, more meaningful yet funny amalgamation of college n the life beyond...
in the hurry to show nupur's comeback they have actually ruined the beautiful tracks, relationships n characters they had created...
even nupur's track is extremely senseless n chaotic..instead of seeing a mature handling of a major life altering development, we are given ppl dressing up as college kids n acting like buffoons...
there could have been so many other ways of advancing this track...like nupur returning to Del after visiting their house n these three going to del to find out where she has been the last three years n how she got there...maybe that wud've answered most questions, or believing that she indeed suffers from memory loss, convincing her with proof...instead we got a stupid college nok-jhok track which made everyone look..well...stupid, especially Mayank as he is the most sensible of them all n it was most uncharacteristic of him to deal with the situation that way...n nupur has been reduced to a screeching, overbearing hag who keeps making faces, getting angry, bossing around n being rude to ppl unnecessarily..it would have been lovely to see a more grounded, dignified n pleasantly funny nupur..a natural progression of the character with time...
the day samrat told gunjan that he will never come near her if she doesnt want it(look at me)...I was so impressed with the mjht creative team that they have taken this story to a whole new level..a new phase in the life of a couple so much in love yet facing difficulties ...I was really looking forward to how they would develop the track keeping in mind that now Gunjan will have to step out of her safety shell n show that she wants samrat back in her life...
God...it could've been such a fabulous season 2...it isnt...bcoz of what???? I feel cheated...
