Nupur's Condition-New Theory-My Take

As you must have read-it certainly is a new theory that no one here has applied yet.

As a student of psychology (if you are one too then you must have studied it), there is a disorder called "multiple personality disorder" or the term given is Dissociative identity disorder that exists. As you must have guessed "multiple personality disorder" is a disorder where a person goes into a split personality that they never knew existed. Usually it occurs from time to time or when a person's a child. The "multiple" or the term "dissociative" applies to at least 2 personalities that routinely take control of an individual's behavior with an associative memory loss that goes beyond normal forgetfulness. A person forgets everything about their other personality, however something strong can make a person remember about their other personality. (If you have seen X-men 3 then you must be familiar with Jean's personality where she was pheonix and didn't remember or knew about her other life but then she did later on when something major happened). So the point I'm getting at is that Nupur has a split personality that she didn't know that existed.

Now the cause, according to the description of the disorder the main cause of such disorders are usually major events such as physical or s**ual abuse and loss of consciousness. In Nupur's case the accident caused a head injury which might have triggered her split personality. Due to that she thinks that she is Nupur Verma. It's a possibility that someone knew about her personality knew what would happen to her and hence took her away from everyone.

Her current behavior, such as feelings of vague familiarization or nostalgia are some signs that show that she might have the split personality. The whole different behavior and not remembering anything indicates it. In a typical memory loss, you still behave the same and your name stays the same. You are at least familiar with the close family or people around you and forget the new memories that you made in the past few months or a year or two. But with personality disorder, you don't even recognize the closest person around you. I have a feeling that someone who picked her up from the hospital knew about that and told her something else.

As for other things, such as who the person is or who she keeps calling or how she behaves around that person...either she is faking it coz she is about to die (highly unlikely) or someone's blackmailing her (possible); or she has truly lost her memory; or the best possible explanation CVs don't need logic to create suspense, hence another blooper.

Now for the logic part. That is the logical explanation I can give about Nupur's similar yet different behavior but with Drama or CVs, logic doesn't exist.

Oh and another thing, as much as I hate the typical saas bahu dramas, even this explanation is similar to that (i hope not)...

But let's see what it is in the end....i'm just enjoying it...

that does make sense, but what i always wondered about memory loss, is why they don't forget how to speak, write, read, they they would learn while growing up, and nuupur lost all her memories

This CAN be the case, but as we know the CV's are not THAT smart to come up with something like that, and as Naina said, it's too complicated and hard to handle.

We'll just have to wait and watch...

@KiranSD1: Well memory loss works in different ways. There are certain memory losses where you loses how to read and write as well but that mainly occurs later in one's life and majority of it is experienced by older people. But what Nupur has is not that type of memory loss. Plus reading and writing works from day one with you and as for Nupur, if it is memory loss, then she lost her life before she met anyone but that is highly unlikely because she should remember Gunjan but she doesn't so I doubt it.

@NainaMayur: thanks and yea it does make sense but like I mentioned in the end. With CVs even i don't expect it. I am aware of the whole Indian drama CVs, no matter who they are, their story changes and the logic never applys them sadly 😕

@ArtiMayur.Meeno: Thanks. I'm just a minor in psychology and that too in children psychology. You are right CVs are hard to manage but who knows maybe this time with new writer we have logic somewhere. lol like I said in the end, i'm just going to wait and watch this time around. Unlike last time i helped ruined my favorite drama once... 😕

I also forgot to mention, the whole split personality first occurs when someone is young. In Nupur's case, it is a possibility that it occurred once before she grew up. Only her Dad might know about it. It's a possibility that her mother's death changed her to Nupur Bhushan and now with accident she is Nupur Verma (BTW in this disorder, people often change their names).

all i have to say.....kaash tum creative hoti!.......this is too much for our dear creatives to handle......but whatever be the case im still enjoying mjht.....but the reason better be good......i feel like all this hype is eventually going to leave us disappointed 🤔 ....naina

You are right.....but i think along with cvs....even the audience won't accept such track as well....that's why we can see same stories repeated in different shows in different ways.......😕

me and creative? please...i don't have that great mine. lol 😆 😉

but you are right it is too much to handle but you know what, compared to them we are not that geniuses.... 😉 coz we would be competing and loosing from time to time. lol

and Naina i feel your pain, even I feel that in the end we would be disappointed and have you noticed a lot of times, all the CVs for all dramas sort of think alike....I mean it makes me wonder, did they all graduate from the same Uni, where they only know how to begin something logically and happily and where the ending never makes sense? Oh i know what the Uni is called lol Beginner's Uni of Creativity and their logo is "Come create a beginning and don't worry about the end, it will be hurried just like your graduation. lol 😆

Awww dear...even I am aware that audience won't accept but think about it...this is something fresh you know...never been applied in any drama yet. I'm sure people would accept it if they just gave a chance with patience because a lot of times, patience is the key (oh but there are limits too). both parties have to have patience and then we can get the best results.

anyways I also think that if we have decent ideas to show this story, there is a track there...

but let's wait and watch
