I think its amnesia or part amnesia....Nupur has been adopted by Nupur Chaudhury's parents....due to their own daughter's death...

Nupur remembers some stuffs for which she was put in trauma centre for 3 years...not everything...basically she came back to mumbai to find out who she is...but couldnt handle the assault of emotions that seeing him did to her....

i am still confused....but this could be it...
