frking hell 😆 I never even expected any one to quote Uttam kumar... in here...once a bengali always a bengali..while we are talkin about blasphemy of devdas the novel and movie..every movie made after the begnali one.. and maybe the dilip kumar one.. was a MAJOR BLASPHEMY..and yes bhansali made me CRINGE.... some one said.. Sanaya insulted ash..no darling.. Insult is what Bhansali did.. and Ash executed it..major insult to not just paro the fictional character but actors like suchitra sen who played it to the T...I wish the neo gen kids would atleast know their facts right..and see all the devdas before making the mockery that bhansali made as a reference point.. I can't even comment on MJHT coz I haven't seen the epi.. as for MJHT they made an immense mockery of Pride n prejudice..so this won't be shocking..also gazillion Devdas have done the act already..so big deal

on that i will only add from day 1 the drama began it already seemed like who were the leads of that drama they could easily take ash-rohan as leads as they r students ........keeping them into side part they could have focused on main leads who r professors ,teachers, trustee how they r helping in in this play........
it was incorrect script & thought by creatives if they handled it with little thought they could had something better........even when script they change at moments than also in there crew no one thought off this situation can occur. how come..........
even for chunnilal & chandrmukhi they could have used junior artist .........as they had to make focus on lead .......
since they already had plan to show paro as G & devads as sam ..how come it be managed than people will come & criticism

i don't want to dig old matter.........but there was loads of criticism happened over last year play they all were taken in healthy humour manner ......topic starter just gave humour if we start finding side remarks in everything than i really think past humours which were made were actually more as side-remarks too.

kavya please this time don't reply nack i don't like i reply back again in topic like this generallyi try to ignore these kinds of topics.

i didn't watch either of those two devdas-es... 🤣 ...jus watched glimpses of srk-ash one though

for me devdas n parvathi are done by A.N.R n savitri...telugu actors in telugu devdas...n that's an epic for me....be it actors or the presentation frm director....it was all class apart frm what MJHT shows to us

in MJHT is less of dev- paro to me, except for the constumes n more of MS, SG n SG reunion for me....here again it goes ....i'm attached to the involved, so i do get blinded at times

@ Piya...Oh man..my mom wld love u and maybe trade u as a daughter..for me 🤣 she made sure I watched atleast 10 uttam schitra movie to know what movie making and what acting and what chemistry was all about..I would just to annoy her say can they be any more imbecile 😆 u shld see her then..I rem her watching the Bhansali version of devdas through out that movie she cursed and cursed and cursed...a really insulted bengali..went on with how Sharad chandra is turning in his grave n wat now.. 😆 she was like only madhuri could be loosely excused..but ash n srk really got it from her man... 😆

tanvi - i dont know abt anything that happened during last yr play..as i was less active at that time too 🤣 .....not during the rehearsals though


n i agree @ students should have been chosed to play dev n paro instead of S/M n G....that's the very thought i had when they decided M as Dev n later G as paro....infact even b4 that when they said ash as chandramukhi...but again who would the show watch seeing them as leads...if it is MN, u would have bothered to watch, as it is SG, we are bothering....we criticize or dont criticize, at the end we watch it only n only for SG/MN ...that's it


or else like sona said, they should have shown these seniors training the students n making a re-union in that process....then again, play should be given the least importance....

but again, i am selfish, i'm happy that SG are dev n paro, atleast G is paro....bcoz seeing sanaya/gunjan in that attire is a treat for all sanaya fans

Kavs I can't second u enough..at the cost of being uber superficial...I am the happiest that Sanaya got to adorn tht form.. I mean we have seen her in all diff avatars but not in a completely traditional bejewelled form.. oh man she was breathtaking 😍 never in my dreams I imagined she cld pull if off and be soo mesmerizing..she was ethereal 😍 loved her make up too..the tinge of brown.. on the cheeks not pink blush coz she is too darn fair for tht..oh heck she is a treat in tht form 😍
