what all i can say that it was a pure gamble from cvs side! they had just two intentions: one high trps and two fresh storyline.they must hv thought that if new season n axing of a character brings these 2 things its gr8 and if not then we will use the already hit formula of bringing back the dead...if not first def. second will bring high trps. this very trick hasnt been a hit only with shows like dmg(where jenny n ksg returned) but also with shows nearly 7-8 years from now...like kyunki...its all kektaish stategies reviving again!
but in all this...one thing is for sure...its the fans who suffered the most.
i hope they understood this.

Exactly. It's a gamble from the CVs side. I fail to understand how Rati could be involved in this gamble? It all points to the misdoing of the CVs. They really need to set their priorities straight. Because in all this, the audience suffer the MOST. Especially fans who got so connected to Nupur.

i agree on this...no of the actor can be involved in such kinda insensitive planning.they r merely puppets in hands of the ph. thats why even rati said that she wasnt told beforhand...and sanaya said that rati wont return...and the biggest thing which always made me curious ...why didnt arjun leave after rati's exit???
frankly speaking...the actor he is...he cud have easily got any lead role...in any prime time show...then why was he doing this show which had nothing for him??? its all bcoz of the cvs who had kept him on a hold that they r waiting for the audiences response...where arjun most probably anticipated for rati's comeback so that they can sizzle the screen with their chemistry all over again.obviously even he wudnt have wanted to miss a chance of working with rati again...thats why they r even performing 2gether. may b now arjun knows that rati is back...n obviously this performance is in a way a benchmark 2 mark the return of a great pair on tv all over again. i am very much skeptical that nupur's comeback will coincide with their performance.
what all i see in this is the ph' strategies 4 high trps. actors views r just reverberations of what they r told to say.but whatever at last i am happy that rati is returning...and that too with complete dignity n love...so happy cvs realized there mistake!

Frankly speaking, I had always been pretty sure about RP as Nups comeback, regardless of whether it was pre-planned or not.

But if it was, playing with our emotions is frankly wrong.

^^Yep. This performance might be to publicize the comeback of Nupur in MJHT. So basically, from the PH side, all this was Pre-planned, whereas Rati remained unaware of what was going on in the minds of the PH and CVs

Hey interesting post.

But I know one person who would never cheat is Rati Pandey. Even Arjun said that no one was informed. Sanaya said the same. If then all three would be lying!

I think the actors are all in the same boat as the fans.

It has been Cvs game plan all the time.

Bang on Rach, whatever was planned was done by Cvs,

How can Rati know anything as she is an actress who even is not allowed to share some views over her character.

Sonya well Rati is very kind and genuine. I certainly disagree with your comments which pertain to taint her character. She doesn't cheat around and is the most straight forward actress around.

Sonya honestly speaking you and I don't know Rati as a person so accusing her of being arrogant on the basis on the statement by random people is not on! What other information and evidence is there to prove that she is, besides these statements of cowards who don't even disclose their names!

Wow, now I'm in for a real surprise.

Anu, you know what before falling asleep last night, I was like I won't get a chance to reply cuz the topic's gonna be closed for sure tomorrow with a line of warning letters waiting for me in the inbox. But as a pleasant surprise, none of the two happened! I'm glad that virtually no one has taken the post as a personal attack on Rati - I was expecting myself to have a hard time explaining this is not what I meant.

Now as for the disagreements. Obviously, I could only scan through them and I won't reply to each one. Some of the major questions raised were why have new entries and why would the creatives invite bashing if they were on good terms with Rati behind the scenes. As to the first question, Anu has done a good job in answering it. I'd quickly add to her posts, is this new to us? Did we not witness Suhani and Adhiraaj as new entries?

As for the second question, I must talk out of personal experience. I was an art lover and saw my future as working in an auction house. I had decided to specialise in Islamic art and I was fortunate to have the opportunity of garnering experience from those around me. My father is an art dealer, so yeah I was offered a lot of help from him and his friends. I had these big ideals in the field, and fortunately again I had the opportunity to remain in their company (not that I only read about them). I was quite excited at first, but soon disillusioned with the whole thing. Let me tell you it's not as beautiful as it seems from the outside, and the people involved weren't so beautiful either. Having known about my initial excitement, my professor at university was shocked when I told him I need to find something else to do in life cuz I no longer intend to pursue a career in the art world. He tried to convince me that I can probably give it a try and see how it works. But, soon he went queit when I told him about all the corruption that goes around. I told him one thing, when the system itself is corrupted then it's almost impossible for you to remain moral and ethical. Soon we began talking about what else could I do with this life I have. The reason I have mentioned this personal experience is because art world parallels showbiz in it's corruptive nature.

I understand your sentiments behind blindly trusting actors, but I'd suggest that you also exercise your own God-gifted intellecual power. I'm saying this out of experience. I was fortunate to have the chance of asking one of my previous ideals, "Why do you have to do this?" I was told, "There's no other way out." I know some might say it's not necessary that what happened to me should happen to everyone else. And, I really hope it doesn't because it doesn't feel good. But, living in a post-modern world, we should know how the line between representation and reality has diminished. Oh it reminds me of someone on this thread who commented that Samrat-Gunjan fans get very theoretical at times - You're right. Don't know about others, but being bombarded with a series of literary theories and trained to write critiques of literature in their lights has turned me into an ultra-theoretical person. But, you know what? I'm happy about it. Because, I feel I'm more intellectually aware now.

And, Mohit's Pari (you must love me for calling you with this name, though I'm not sure if Sanaya will be very pleased about it), I also thought of 'mob' reaction before making this topic. Perhaps this is why we are always reminded, "You never know."

Their plans are always random.... they planned scholarship track for Nupur... which was cut short to divorce plan for obvious reasons of season 2 and then all of a sudden it was turned into Nupur's death track... nothing was pre-planned dear... not even MN marriage was pre-planned... they just didn't know how to end the adhiraj-MN-nupur-2 track, so they ended up wrapping the whole mess into MN marriage... and after MN marriage... again they didn't know what to do with MN...
Creatives who pre-plan the tracks, their shows are top shows on every channel... MJHT creatives are lack creativity itself... planning, execution, decent story, nice screenplay, meaningful dialogues, flawless editing, presentation... these things are just not their forte...

Bang on Jess! Really well said. Cvs of this show don't really care much about their show and storylines, they have their own ulterior motives to worry about.
