Finally, there's something I like about Season 2. I'm actually finding the new track pretty interesting, specially after the recent few epis. I'm so glad the CVs are focusing on some problems which the young face in real life, and how the seniors are guiding them so that they don't make the same mistakes which they did.Samrat, Gunjan and Mayank, each of them mentoring and advising the young students out of their own experiences.
Firstly, I loved the Samrat-Ash scene yesterday. It was just wonderful.I actually realised how much Samrat has evolved as a person. The scene was really simple and well done. Samrat taught Ash how to value each small thing in life and not to take anything for granted. He's not had the most happy childhood and hence, he tells Ash to cherish every moment she's spent with her parents. He tells her that whatever happened had to happen and not to blame herself for it, to move on. And that's where Ash asks him whether he's been able to move on from his past.... Which is also where Samrat tells Ash that whatever happens, we have to move on. Running away from problems, is not the right thing to do. This is also the reason that he's been working in Excel, even after all that happened. And this is what makes Ash realise why it's important for her to go to college.
Even the Samrat-Rohan scenes have been good. Because Samrat sees a bit of himself in Rohan. I guess that's because Rohan is also a prankster like Sam, he can also go to any extent to protect his loved ones. And Samrat doesn't want him to make the same mistakes that he did. He tells him how important it is to think and act. Even the most innocent pranks can hurt others immensely, which is from his experience from the accident three years ago. What we perceive as fun may prove to be hell for everyone.
Mayank wants Ria to give her life a direction. He tells her she needs to think over what she really wants, because he can't see her waste her whole life over silly things. In yesterday's staff room scene, he forgives her but he also tells her that "Sorry" isn't just a word, she should prove that she's worthy of being forgiven by changing people's perceptions about her. He knows that Ria is just a spoilt girl, she doesn't realise the worth of a college seat because she's never had to fight for it. She has no aim in life, because she gets what she wants.
Currently, I'm loving this aspect of Season 2. I like the fact that there's something apart from romance and random comedy. I love the way Samrat and Mayank have evolved from Season 1 and their roles as mentors, teachers and even friends. They've learnt all this from experience themselves and will use to better the lives of the new students.

EDIT: This post is NOT for those who don't find the show "interesting". Don't waste your time here. I really don't want to argue about how the show is filled with crap and stuff. This is ONLY for those who watch Season 2 an have something to say other than the usual nonsense.
