They fail to impress me somehow. i guess well written scenes could do wonders . You're probably the best person to know what wonders a gr8 scene could do considering how well you yourself write.

I agree that screenplays and scenes could be not just a little ... but far better ... but how well planned are these storylines in the first place, how many scenes are written up at the last minute because an actor falls sick or is unavailable for any reason ... and what kind of feedback the CV's get ... putting out five 22 minute episodes 52 weeks of the year without any breaks is no small job. If there's a large cast, or if they have teams of writers who can take turns or do individual storylines, the quality might improve ... but for the most part, I think they just don't have the time! On top of it, fans crib all the time about screen space and can't stand time "wasted" on any newbies or on their non-favourite characters ... but think of the actors ... how much time THEY have to put in every single day to put together even a five minute scene ...

some people have compared this to Friends - how can you even begin to compare - once weekly episodes, a team of writers, a live audience to give feedback, a definite season time limit, the actors get a break and then come back for the next ... we just don't have those kind of conditions here ... and sometimes too much feedback is counterproductive. Agreed Cv's have to cater to feedback, but if that limits their creative freedom in telling their story the way they want to ... then it's always going to have a half-baked result. And again ... for daily soaps, it's gonna take TIME for the storyline to develop ... you have to build up the tracks slowly ... today, for the first time, I did see some 3D shape being given to the newbies ... they were cardboard cutouts till now ... but then, so were MN and SG when the show started ... in my opinion (disclaimer needed here)!!!!

@revathy and Sonu..well I guess m not all that disappointed coz I never had big expectations from this show in terms of screenplay and editing..even characterization to some extent.. this show never really impressed me on any of those grounds..for things like those..I watch shows like rishta.com....I couldnt even spend 10 mins watchin this show for some time as tracks like eve teasing and baby track did not appeal to me in spite of sanaya on screen..neel's track was good..so I started watching..someone dying had the drama and suspense factor..so I continued..I hoped genuinely that Gunjan died so Sanaya could leave and I wouldn't have to watch it..coz season 1 was one long romantic, feel-good season which lacked depth.. I mean there were days I could not take more of the inane gang scenes..and fwded Benji-Uday scenes..MN tracks lacked plot...so did not really follow it SG got monotonous after a while so was losing interest...right now I m sorta intrigued to see where they may go with this.. for once 3 individual characters have appeal in their own right...I have never paid more attention to Mayank or Samrat as much I am doing now..right now a lot of people r missing Benjy Dia Uday..but honestly I fail to see where they would fit in this track...yes the CVs have taken a risk by changing the feel of the show...the plot and the perspective..its an experiment that may fail miserably..thnks to shoddy casting..screenplay editing...anything...but then again a perfect show like Rishta.com has less viewership than it deserves...so the junta opinion to me never really matters..coz my sensibility is shared by less than 1% of the crowd anyways...

@ Diya...U know I was watchin the making of friends the other day 🤣 n they had a team of 12 script writers...they go we never know who has a dry humour spell..if one of us are not funny enough on one given day we have 11 other back ups...they had live audience giving feedbacks on which jokes were not funny enough..or where the punch was missing..the actors.. themselves interacted with the live audience to improve their timing...

lets face it the desi industry doesn't work like that..they dont have that kind of organization and discipline..they cant imagine taking a whole summer off...to replenish the team and come up with new ideas...IF I saw one after another well made shows on Indian TV I would complain about MJHT...for me they are all mediocre...and I wont complain about one coz there is no reference point for me 🤣

guyzzz i think we hav to giv a chance atleast for a month....let us see sg reunion and then we will c how the track goes on...thers lots of things to b done like saynk frenship and sajan marriage...we hav to wait for sumtym

@Sona ... exactly my point, sona ... I simply don't expect anything very great in terms of screenplay etc in daily soaps ... are there ANY good daily soaps on Indian tv? Or anywhere? The ones which are still decent are those with a large ensemble cast - again better in terms of time factor ... To put together a good show, you need time ... Rishta.com is a weekly show, remember ... so is Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, another favourite of mine ...

The earlier soaps used to be far better in terms of quality cos they were weekly, and there was time to put together a story and screenplay ... at least, that's my reading. Unless the shows get far more organised, quality is always gonna be lacking.

What's going wrong is that the CV's do not know how to take the story any longer! They don't know what other tracks to use, bcoz how long (logically) can SaJan and MayUr be in college? Eventually it has to end up being a saas bahu I guess... (unfortunately...)

Well MJHT Season1 always had storyline and best dailogues but suffered bad editing ..But MJHT Season 1 always rocked because we had fantastic actors Rati, Benji, Diya , Dodo,Mohit, Mayank etc etc .

MJHT Season1 had beutiful Mayur Love Story since day 1.. .. Mayank and Nupur had perfect storyline and we had great mayur tracks.. fans enjoyed it. .best thing was two good actors who created magic on screen... Season1 had magic although editing was not good but actors were good.

Season 2 is missing everything but people should give chance who would like to watch ... you guys definetly should do it for the sake of Cv and MJHT

MJHT Season 1 might lacked storyline but we had good actors like nupur, benji, dodo.. we had fun, masti and dhammalll but Season 2 has got saas bahu track .. crying and sadness..

Let me tell u one thing ..Cv;s wont find any story after Sajan reunion and the they will do 3rd revamp by either killing gunjan or samrat ...( what they did with mayur track by killing nupur )

CV's had so much scope with Mayur Marriage Track , Sajans love track, Career track, etc etc.. But Cvs concentrated on Gunjan Coma track, Baby track, Gunjan-Neil track ( they did not even finish all these tracks )

You guys are more than welcome to give chance to more than a month to this track( those who wants to watch ) of MJHT season2 .. but by giving chance TRP wont go high.. CV;s will again do new revamp by dumping somwone ............

Mayank, Gunjan and Samrat are lost in season2 .. they r sad, upset confused ,there is No scenes about Nupur death , we need to know how did she die.. Cvs are playing this game very safely ..... Keeping an option for Nupur comeback as a different character..

I do not want Rati to comeback. .she has shown her acting ability ( comedy, emotion, serious,) and she deserve something better and will look forward to see her new show. She is such a versatile actress and she did 100% justice to Nupurs character and made it perfect.

As Nupur is gone , Fan will see more of samrat and Gunjan but do not know what is going to happen with Mayank , Cvs cannot show Mayank without any female partner,so they will create track for Samrat-Gunjan-Mayank and drag it for months and keep Nupur death suspense.
