ayesha, welcome to the gang!!! 😉
I for one agree with you 100% about Gunjan's original character - in fact, her quiet strength and sheer dignity was the reason I fell in love with her in the first place. Sure, she's cried - the Sheena track was the worst phase, but even through the worst times, somehow the cv's have managed to keep that strength intact. And she has always had the courage of her convictions - she takes her time to judge people and events, but once she has, she's firm as a rock, even a little obstinate - witness the way she didn't forgive Samrat for an eternity after the bet and he had to really fight to get her back ... she's fiercely loyal to the people she loves, and she makes her point very clearly and precisely. I loved the canteen scene today where she blasted the gang for dissing Nupur as well - they all looked positively scared of her ... because when a person like Gunjan gets annoyed, it's far bigger a deal than when someone who loses their temper every second day does. She doesn't get worked up often, only when she really needs to and when she can't take it any more - even then, she's controlled and dignified in her words. She is really an amazing character ... HOPE the cv's keep her like this ... plzzzzzzzz cv's don't let this Gunjan disappear again!!!!
Firstly, i'm sorry for such a late reply.. I had to prepare my lecture for today, so cudn't reply last night.
Secondly, thanks a lot for welcoming me in to the gang dear. Its my pleasure to be a part of this SG club 😊
Diya, i FULLLLYYYY agree wid u. Gunjan is undoubtedly the most strong willed person of the whole lot. I'd rather prefer calling her "beauty wid brains", which in itself is a rare combination. She not only is stunning and beautiful, but also has a heart of gold. I know that she cries.. but then who doesn't??? Especially in the situations that she's faced all along... One needs to take out the anger, frustrations in one way or the other.. When Sam gets angry, he takes it out in the bb ground, nups speaks her heart out. So Gunjan's tears are more of a vent for her. But the most important thing here is that she never lets her emtions weaken her. Being such a selfless person.. she always thinks of her loved ones before her own self.. and even if it hurts her.. she never backs out (rem. when she broke her frienship wid Sam for Sheena).
And yup, she took ages to come out of that bet issue coz at that time she felt betrayed and that too from the person whom she had trusted blindly and for whom she had overcome her fears. So, it was hard for her to accept it.. coz she's a sensitive girl and at that time was even more so. But when she realized that somehere she had also over reacted, she took the blame on herself for not understanding Sam's genuine concern for her (just like yesterday, she was feeling guilty for whatever she said to Nupur).
The yesterday canteen scene was the true depiction of her nature. It showed that no matter how calm she is, but when it comes to her loved ones, she can b all furious (the tigress within her was very much alive..) So, YES!!! Gunjan's inner strength is truly her differentiating trait and makes her stand apart, rather above, the other members of her gang.
I know its a looong post again.. but how can I not mention Sam when describing Gunjan. Coz they both are INSEPERABLE.. When she's weak, Sam's her strength.. and when he needs her.. she's there to embrace him. They live for each other.. and that's y they are the most magical couple.. Sam and Gunjan are destined to be together (hopefully) 😊
