Okay, just saw the episode and saw your discussion, naz and kavs - don't know what's happening on the forum, but WHO says this is not Gunjan?????

THIS IS GUNJAN .... to a T .... THIS is the Gunjan I saw in the episodes around the bet time, her carrying on teaching Samrat even after she gets to know about the bet, then breaking the friendship after the exams ... and then apologising frankly and saying she made a mistake in judging Samrat .... THIS IS THE ORIGINAL GUNJAN!!!! She's been lost for months and months - almost a full year - NOW SHE'S BACK!!!!!!! The calm, controlled, outwardly quiet but inwardly strong as a rock Gunjan.

The confrontation between the sisters - Gunjan holding her cool, trying her best to keep calm and to calm her sister ... this is not the place to talk ... BUT firm whenever the topic of Samrat came up - no, don't say any more, i will not listen ...

and the SG scene later ... WOW!!! What a couple!!! Who are the CV's who have written this couple? How do they dish out so much crap and then come out with scenes like this?! Made for each other doesn't even BEGIN to describe them ... in each and every scene of theirs, and soooo much in this one, you can see the sheer beauty and strength of the bond between them. Is it their love that makes their friendship so strong, or their friendship that gives their love such depth and beauty? They can never have any misunderstanding, because they can open their hearts to each other, expose their weaknesses, bare their very souls. Which couple can admit to each other - we went too far, we shouldn't have - without ANY blame game being played, any embarrassment, any shame - just a clear, honest look at themselves and a beautiful, soft admission and acceptance. Amazing ... just amazing! Brilliant dialogues, BRILLIANT dialogue delivery and SUPERB acting - today I can truly say I'm so proud i saw the beauty in Sajan love story so long back and became their fan. This is why this couple is so amazing, and so unique ... and so wonderful!!!!

I've to prepare for my lecture tomorrow, but ahhh.. the focus is somewhere else. The SG mania is not letting me concentrate on my work and here i see so many posts regarding Gunjan, so how can i resist adding my penny's worth.

I am totally wid u guys that watever Gunjan did was the need of the hour. There's definitiely a limit to everything. Its quite natural to loose ur patience in a situation that she faced today (rather is facing from a few episodes). To further aggravate the matter, it's her sister who's making all sorts of comments to her (abt ruining family prestige and stuff) as well as abt the persom whom she loves the most. So basically the whole thing revolved around the two MOST IMPORTANT ppl in her life. But even after saying all that to Nupur, she had the courage to accept that whatever she said was wrong. For me thats the strength of her character.

Also, i don't know y ppl say that Gunjan is always crying. Well i find her to be the MOST strong and firm in her temprament. The way she's handled situations time and again (and even now) proves that she can b all vocal, expressive and assertive whenever her loved ones require her to b. Kudos to gunjan for that!!!!

I for one agree with you 100% about Gunjan's original character - in fact, her quiet strength and sheer dignity was the reason I fell in love with her in the first place. Sure, she's cried - the Sheena track was the worst phase, but even through the worst times, somehow the cv's have managed to keep that strength intact. And she has always had the courage of her convictions - she takes her time to judge people and events, but once she has, she's firm as a rock, even a little obstinate - witness the way she didn't forgive Samrat for an eternity after the bet and he had to really fight to get her back ... she's fiercely loyal to the people she loves, and she makes her point very clearly and precisely. I loved the canteen scene today where she blasted the gang for dissing Nupur as well - they all looked positively scared of her ... because when a person like Gunjan gets annoyed, it's far bigger a deal than when someone who loses their temper every second day does. She doesn't get worked up often, only when she really needs to and when she can't take it any more - even then, she's controlled and dignified in her words. She is really an amazing character ... HOPE the cv's keep her like this ... plzzzzzzzz cv's don't let this Gunjan disappear again!!!!

Now I understand why you all were raving about Samrat and Gunjan today 😍 😍 😍 ... it's like an eternal circle, the love and the friendship, both enrich each other and strengthen the other, till you can almost see those invisible bonds between them ... strengthened by the unshakeable trust they have in each other. The other thing I see is that there is no insecurity at all in their love for each other ... Samrat is able to put forward Nupur's pov to Gunjan with complete confidence ... because he knows that what nupur is accusing him of is wrong, and that gunjan will never believe it ... she may understand where nups is coming from, but her own faith in samrat will be unshakeable, so she will be with him always - and that is a trust and confidence they both have developed in each other because of their friendship and their communication. And that is why they can deal with nups' accusations together ... the accusations which might have broken up any other couple, or at least caused some distrust, some discomfort, some distance ... here all they do is make them relook at themselves - but together, always together. 😍 Honestly speaking, this is the type of understanding which comes after years of togetherness, not even then sometimes ... but they have it!!!
